National Highways shares statement on motorway closure
A spokesperson for National Highways has confirmed the M5 is closed in both directions. “This is due to a serious collision involving a lorry and motorcycle on the southbound M5,” they said.
“Gloucestershire Police and South Western Ambulance Service are on the scene. Northbound traffic is held whilst Great Western Air Ambulance attend.”
