One major retailer is starting spring with a major price cut
Tesco is treating its customers to an Easter delight with a significant discount on chocolate treats and popular Easter eggs. The supermarket chain has cut prices by up to 31% for Clubcard holders, featuring beloved brands such as Maltesers, Cadbury, and Lindt.
Shoppers can expect to find some luxury items ringing in at under £2, offering savings of as much as £5.50 per egg on selected products. The promotion encompasses 20 different items, with Tesco announcing: “Opt for luxury with offers on Lindt, Tesco Finest, Thorntons and Raffaello. Or spread the cost of family favourites and pick up brand-name staples including Maltesers, M&M, Smarties and Milky Bar.”
Highlighted by the Sun, deals include the Raffaello White Chocolate Easter Egg, normally priced at about £17.50, now down to £12. The Lindt XL Salted Caramel Egg will see a £5 reduction from its usual £20, while the iconic gold bunnies will be available for £5.50, down from £6.75.
Other treats like Cadbury creme eggs, Oreo chocolate, and Tony’s Chocolonely Egg-stra special egg packs will have 50p slashed off their price tags. Bargain hunters can even find individual eggs for as low as £1.35.
Despite the broad range of discounts, shoppers should pay attention to the varying end dates of each deal, with some promotions ending as soon as February 25 and others extending until May 12. The discounts are exclusively for Clubcard holders. Other retailers have also kick-started their Easter egg deals ahead of March.
More Card holders at Morrisons can enjoy over 30% off medium-sized Cadbury Easter eggs, priced at £2.50 instead of £4. This includes Creme Eggs, Mini Eggs, Twirls and even Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
If you’re on the hunt for small Cadbury eggs, Aldi might be your best bet with the 97gram eggs. This includes Freddo and Mini Eggs, available at £1.45 instead of £1.65.
