Manchester United have just two days of the 2025 summer transfer window remaining but the Red Devils still have a number of deals in the pipeline ahead of Monday evening’s deadline
Manchester United have splashed the cash this summer – but there is still time for more for the Red Devils. The transfer window closes on Monday evening and there are still some major deals in the pipeline.
One of them involves striker Rasmus Hojlund, who looks set to complete a move away from Old Trafford over the coming days. He could well be followed by a number of teammates including Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.
Should all of those leave, it could potentially open the door to more new arrivals for the under-fire Ruben Amorim. A midfielder and a new goalkeeper are potentially on the agenda but some serious work needs to be done for those two signings to be completed.
Any more transfers would take United’s summer spending to well over £200m this summer – albeit it has not shown on the pitch so far amid their indifferent results.
With that being said, take a look at all of the Manchester United transfer rumours ahead of today’s Premier League clash with Burnley :

Hojlund set for exit
United striker Rasmus Hojlund is set to bid farewell to Manchester United after agreeing a move to Serie A champions Napoli. The Italian side will sign the Dane on loan with an obligation to buy included in the agreement.
Napoli will hand the Red Devils a £5m loan fee for Hojlund, as part of an overall package that could see United earn more than £43m. The Italian champions would be forced to pay £38m should a number of conditions be met.
Despite that, United would still be in line to lose a huge amount having spent around £72m to sign him from Atalanta. Hojlund, 22, has scored just 26 goals in all competitions since then.
Lammens boss speaks out
Royal Antwerp manager Stef Wils has broken his silence on goalkeeper Senne Lammens amid reported interest from Man United. Lammens has been installed as the Red Devils’ number one target amid their search for a new goalkeeper.
Lammens missed last weekend’s game vs Mechelen and is also expected to be sidelined in Antwerp’s latest outing. Speaking on Friday, Wils said: “Senne is following an individual program, in consultation with all parties. That’s a logical decision. Since this could be a major outgoing transfer, we want to minimise the risk of injuries.”

Garnacho clue dropped
Alejandro Garnacho now appears to be on the verge of becoming a Chelsea player. The Argentine was in attendance at Stamford Bridge on Saturday as the Blues hosted Fulham.
United and Chelsea have already thrashed out a deal that will see the London club pay around £40m for the Argentine’s services.
An announcement over his move is expected imminently as his five-year spell at Old Trafford comes to an end.
