Getting a haircut can be quite fun and exciting.
For many people, trims come around every few weeks, if not months. But for one fella, he decided to wait more than four years to finally meet with a viral TikTok barber who really knows his stuff – and it was all worth while.
In a recent post, Richmond Barber, who boasts 1.6million followers, shared a transformation which totally blew minds online. His client showed up with long hair and admitted it’s been a while since he had a cut.
The video shows the man who looks like he’s “come from the jungle”. When asked how long it’s been since he trimmed his mane, he replied: “The pandemic,” although he’s had a few trims along the way after getting out of the Navy.
At the time, he would have had a buzz cut, but it’s now grown back and he’s hoping to travel to the Philippines to see his wife and family. Speaking about his partner, he claimed she wanted something low maintenance to “fit his head shape”.
He said: “I know it’s going to be hot in the Philippines. I just want something to kind of fit my head shape. I want to look professional you know, I’m in healthcare.” Then seconds after the conversation, the barber wasted no time in getting his special scissors out.
Before his transformation, his locks were down by his chest then moments later it’s a nice trim with a fringe. Now rocking the short do, the customer revealed he would be turning 38 later this year – but the hairdresser now thinks he’s aged backwards.
The Richmond Barber told him: “Now you definitely look 21.” Since the mind-blowing transformation was shared on TikTok, it racked up 48,600 likes and dozens of comments from chuffed viewers. One said: “You do magic I swear.”
While another commented: “Just cut off 20 years.” Then a third chimed in: “Very handsome man.” Meanwhile this isn’t the first Richmond Barber transformation we’ve seen in weeks.
Previously, a dad got his first haircut in two years and couldn’t believe his transformation. The barber met with a 36-year-old customer who claimed to have the “Jesus look since high school”.
