A TikToker has shared the moment she was pinned between two men on a two-hour flight between cities in Canada, with a video showing her legs uncomfortably squashed together

A woman has shared a video showing how she was forced to spend an hours-long flight sandwiched between two “manspreading” fellow passengers.

Erin Rempel was left fuming after two men invaded her personal space on a two-hour long domestic Canadian flight from Edmonton to Winnipeg. The model and stylist was so angry that she recorded her experience, posting footage online that showed the men’s legs pushing against her own in the cabin.

Her video, which she posted on TikTok, shows her legs being pressed together while her neighbours selfishly splay theirs out. She captioned the 17-second clip “female rage” and questioned why the men felt it was acceptable for them to sit in that way, and dozens of commenters joined her in signalling their shock.

Erin could be seen trying to push back at the two men during the flight, uncomfortably shuffling her legs around so she wasn’t as pressed by the passengers. Towards the end of the short video, one of the men can visibly starts to press his leg back in retaliation. Commenters noticed the two-and-fro, with one saying: “HE EVEN MOVED IT CLOSER WHEN YOU MOVED AWAY??”

The stylist, who is 6ft 2, confirmed that she had tried to get one of the men to move, but that “he wouldn’t”. She was left questioning why anyone would “ever need that much room???”. Other commenters were quick to condemn the passengers, with one recommending she “say something” before adding: “If you’re nervous call a flight attendant.”

Another user hit back at others arguing the men were likely tall, adding that her 6ft 6 tall husband always “books extra leg room” on flights. They said: “Look. I get the tall arguments. My husband is two meters but he books extra legroom. And if he can’t for some reason he absolutely mentions it, demonstrates his difficulty and apologizes profusely for it.”

The TikTok post isn’t the first of its kind, with other users having shared their discomfort after being sandwiched between two other passengers before. Earlier this year, TikToker Malia Makaila told how she was sat on a flight between a husband and wife who were sharing snacks.

Malia wrote over the clip, which bagged 140,000 views: “I’m on a flight sitting in an economy plus middle seat in-between a husband and wife who purchased the aisle and window seat, and they’re just passing chips over me, having a full conversation. Meanwhile, the guy in front of me pushed his seat so far back I can’t open my laptop and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work.”
