A coat can make or break an outfit and this Jaeger wrap coat definitely has the ‘wow factor’
A statement coat has the magic to elevate any ensemble and transform even a simple combo of jeans and a jumper into a fashionable look when topped with the right outerwear. This season, fashion enthusiasts are going gaga over a gorgeous coat from Marks and Spencer.
The on-trend Jaeger British Pure Wool Double Breasted Wrap Coat is available to buy from M&S for £350. The price point may be on the higher end, especially in comparison to other similar options available at the high street giant, but glowing reviews indicate shoppers consider it a worthy splurge, reports Birmingham Live.
Selling super quickly, with smaller sizes flying off the shelves, customers have been sharing their love for the posh piece of outerwear. Some who have been on the hunt for the perfect winter coat for ages are even saying that they have finally found ‘the one.’

One thrilled customer said: “Absolutely love my new coat, warm, lighter in weight than I expected, considering how warm it is. Great length. I feel like a star when out.”
Another buyer added: “I am delighted with my stylish coat. I had been looking for sometime and this is just what I was after. It is warm, lightweight and I especially like the subtle autumnal tones in the check.”
A third shopper also shared their delight, they said: “I ordered my usual size and one size smaller but kept my usual size, which is slightly loose. The size down was more fitted like on the model.
“I’ve been looking for a new winter coat for a few years and this is it. It’s warm but not too heavy and the fabric is British and it’s made in the EU. I wanted a long coat to keep my rear and legs warm.
“Most coats are too short. I liked the check ‘blanket’ coat look which looks great in the countryside where I live. It’s worth the full price that I paid.”
The coat boasts button fastening at the front with a removable belt option. Another customer raved: “The price reflects the quality of this Jaeger coat. It is made from pure wool and is warm but also light to wear.
“I also ordered the M&S coat which was much cheaper but was made of polyester and was heavy and looked synthetic. I returned the M&S coat and kept the Jaeger coat as the quality of the material was worth the higher price.”
Sadly, not everyone was satisfied. One buyer said: “While this coat has a nice cut and attractive pattern, the material is quite light. For this price I would expect a more substantial wool and heavier coat.
“I can’t see it being terribly warm despite it being made of wool. For those looking for a light winter coat I can see the attraction.”
M&S has described their coat with enthusiasm, they said: “Smart tailoring meets heritage checks in this Jaeger coat crafted from wool sourced from the famous Abraham Moon mill in Yorkshire. It’s cut to a regular fit in a flattering wrap style with a double-breasted button fastening.
“A generous revere collar lends a softness to the silhouette while slip pockets at the hips provide useful storage. The detachable belt allows you to personalise the look. Layer yours over your favourite knitted dress for a smart cold-weather look.”
The coat can be ordered directly from M&S via their website.
