Tesco shoppers have been urged to check their Clubcard app to see if they’re entitled to a free streaming subscription worth £15. However, you’ll need to act quick – as the offer ends in just days
Shoppers are being urged to claim a streaming subscription worth £15 with a ‘quick two-tap check’. According to Martin Lewis’ MSE, Tesco is offering ‘selected’ Clubcard members the chance to claim three months of Disney+’s ‘standard with ads’ plan, which normally costs £4.99 per month.
Tesco allows Brits to collect one point for every £1 they spend in-store or online, as well as one point for every two litres of fuel they purchase. Each Clubcard points works out at 1p in Tesco, so 200 points can knock £2 off your shop. However, points are often worth twice their regular value if you spend them with Tesco’s Clubcard partners – which include popular brands like Alton Towers and Café Rouge.
The supermarket giant is now running a reward to allow invited Clubcard members to claim an introductory subscription to Disney+, which boasts endless TV shows like Modern Family, The Simpsons, and The Walking Dead – as well as iconic films such as Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. However, you’ll need to act quickly – as the offer ends in days.

How to claim your free Disney+ subscription
- Log onto the Tesco app and click the ‘Clubcard’ icon at the bottom of your screen.
- There should be three small boxes that read ‘Vouches’, ‘Coupons’, and ‘Partners’. If there is a number ‘1’ underneath the ‘Partners’ section, tap the button.
- A message reading ‘Time to enjoy your reward. Well done, you earned it. And if remember, if you’re visiting a Reward Partner, check availability and opening times first.” Below should be an expiring voucher for three months of Disney+, priced at £0.
If the reward is on your Clubcard app, make sure you redeem it before 11.59pm on Friday, March 28. Your code will be automatically applied, or can be entered manually on the Disney+ website. You’ll only be eligible for this perk if you’re not already paying for Disney+.
The perk is an app-only offer and is only available for those aged 18 or over who have opted-in to receive marketing communications from Tesco Clubcard. You can read the full terms and conditions in the Tesco app.

Disney+’s ‘standard with ads’ plan
Disney+’s ‘standard with ads’ plan allows you to stream 1080P Full HD Video and 5.1 audio on two devices at a time. However, you won’t be able to download your favourite TV shows or films and will have to put up with a bunch of ads (around four minutes per hour on TV shows and at the beginning of films).
“After the three-month freebie ends, you’ll be automatically enrolled into the full-price ‘standard with ads’ plan – currently £4.99 a month,” MSE warned. “If you don’t want to keep Disney+, make sure you cancel before the free period ends.”
If you’re looking to go ad-free, you’ll need to pay £8.99 per month, or £89.90 a year. This allows you to download content on up to 10 devices, and stream on two devices at a time. Again, this plan allows users to enjoy 1080P Full HD Video, and supports up to 5.1 audio.
Disney+ also offers a ‘premium’ plan which allows you to stream on four devices at a time and experience 4K UHD and HDR video, as well as an ‘immersive sound with up to Dolby Atmos audio’. It is priced at £12.99 per month or £129.90 per year.
Tesco did not wish to provide comment on the Clubcard reward when approached by the Mirror.
