Dozens of men were filmed outside a row of homes with punches being seen flying and one man spotted brandishing a knife amid the chaos on Birmingham – four men have since been arrested

This is a moment a massive brawl erupted on a UK street with fights breaking out “all over the place.”

Dozens of men were filmed fighting outside a row of homes in Showell Green Lane, in Sparkhill, Birmingham. There were some jostling and shouts of “what are you doing bro,” before punches started flying.

Moments later, several fights broke out simultaneously and moved into the roadway. One man, seen dressed in a grey top and black tracksuit bottoms, was seen brandishing a large knife and appearing to attempt to slash two men during the chaos. All the while, residents and motorists looked on as the men continued to punch and kick one another for about two minutes.

One bystander could be heard commenting: “Take the beef home.” Another added: “F****** stupid.” While a third said: “What are you doing?”

Police said four men, aged 23, 22, as well as two aged 20, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, reports BirminghamLive. An anonymous onlooker said: “It was like a Wild West saloon brawl, there were bodies everywhere.

“I don’t know what caused it, but this group were talking in a quite animated way for a while before something sparked it. From then on it was just carnage.

“All hell broke loose. There were fights breaking out all over the place. It’s not what you want to see.

“It’s pretty shameful really, there’s lots of families with kids around here and you’ve got grown men acting like this.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: “We’ve arrested four men on suspicion of violent disorder following an incident on Showell Green Lane, Sparkhill, shortly after 7.30pm, last Wednesday (13 August).

“Four men, aged 23, 22 and two aged 20, were taken into custody and have since been bailed with strict conditions as our enquiries continue.”
