McDonald’s is saying goodbye to the BBQ Ranch Stack, Milky Way McFlurry and the Grimace Milkshake – but four new items are being added to the menu tomorrow
McDonald’s is axing three menu items today – including an iconic US milkshake and BBQ burger.
The fast food chain is saying goodbye to the BBQ Ranch Stack, Milky Way McFlurry and the Grimace Milkshake. The BBQ Ranch Stack contains two 100% beef patties, Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, crispy onions, creamy ranch, and sweet BBQ sauce. If you’ve got more a sweet tooth, the Milk Way McFlurry consists of soft dairy ice cream swirled with milk chocolate stars and malt flavoured pieces topped with a chocolate sauce.
The Grimace Milkshake is inspired by the iconic purple McDonald’s character Grimace and is made by mixing blueberry syrup and a creamy milkshake base. It was a huge hit in the US and debuted on the McDonald’s UK menu last summer before returning again in December 2024 for a limited time.
All these menu items will disappear after today (February 11) – but it isn’t all bad news, as McDonald’s is making room for new products that will join the menu from tomorrow. Maccies is bringing back the Philly Cheese Stack, which features two beef patties with a cheese sauce, cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions and pickles served in a toasted bun.
The Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie, which consists of a crispy pink pastry filled with a smooth white chocolate ganache and a raspberry compote, is also making a return. These will be available until May 6. Alongside this, the Mars McFlurry, which is made of soft dairy ice cream swirled with crunchy chocolate-covered nougat pieces and topped with caramel sauce, is back until March 25.
Finally, also joining the menu tomorrow is the Tropicana Apple Juice and this will be a permanent addition. The Katsu Chicken One and the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, which were added to the menu last month, will also still be available until May 6.
The Katsu Chicken One includes your choice of crispy or grilled chicken, coated in flavourful katsu sauce, packed with crispy onions, crunchy cucumber, and fresh lettuce, while the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse is made with 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, and lettuce.
Maccies fans will also be able to still get hold of Mozzarella Dippers, which are sticks of Mozzarella cheese coated in breadcrumbs and served with a salsa dip, until March 25. Prices do vary depending on your location, so make sure you check the menu board before you order.
