Prince Harry’s decision to fly back to the UK after King Charles’ cancer diagnosis is reported to have caused a tense conversation with his wife, Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle is said to held a “tense conversation” her husband Prince Harry as he dashed back to the UK to be by his sick dad’s side.
Harry flew into the UK for a brief 25-hour visit following the news of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis. The visit and health news came as the royals continued to have a strained relationship with Harry and Meghan following their decision to reveals some of the family’s most personal battles in a tell-all book and TV documentaries.
While there have been rumours that Harry would be open for a return to his native home, it’s said Meghan is opposed to the idea and was reportedly in a panic at her husband’s fleeting visit without her.

According to Closer Magazine, the news of Charles’ ill health made Harry realise the family feud was “mental” but had Meghan “terrified” about reentering the world of the royals. Speaking of the potential crossroads the couple may face, the insider told the publication: “He [Harry] went from being in a state of shock to feeling angry, which led to a tense conversation between him and Meghan.
“Learning of his father’s diagnosis made Harry realise how mental all this bickering has been. He feels that it’s shone a light on how frivolous all this fighting had been and ultimately, how much he loves his father and wants to be by his side.”
The source continued to say that Meghan’s worries about any reuniting could see “the gap grow” between the pair if Harry decides to spend more time in the UK. They added it’s allegedly causing her to “panic and spiral”.
Meanwhile, in more of a united front, Harry and Meghan quietly launched their new Sussex website, bringing with it its own controversy. Some are said to be unhappy with the duo’s insistence on using their royal title despite stepping back from any royal duties. However, sources close to the Sussexes have hit back and insisted they are fine to use the title as it is “their name”.
Their previous sussexroyal.com website was launched after they stepped back from the royal family in 2019 and when they moved to the US in 2020 they then set up their Archewell Foundation and Archewell Productions shortly after, which will now sit under this new website.
A source close to the couple fumed to MailOnline: “Prince Harry and Meghan are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. That is a fact. It is their surname and family name.”
