Marks and Spencer has done it again with their latest snack offering that has got mouths up and down the country salivating with some saying they ‘need’ to get it ‘now’
There’s no denying that pistachio is still the flavour of the moment, with people unable to get enough of the green-coloured treat. It might look a little strange to some people, but it’s so sweet, tasty, and decadent, and pistachio-flavoured everything is all the rage. From ice-creams to the ‘Dubai chocolate’ craze, everything is delightful, and Marks and Spencer has levelled up with a new sweet treat.
M&S posted on its Instagram that they were launching a brand new product, penning: “New in the M&S Foodhall – the crème de la (pistachio) crème. If you can’t get enough of our Collection Pistachio Crème, we’ve just turned this iconic spread into the ULTIMATE on-the-go sweet treat.
“Find our new little sweet treat in our sandwich aisles, the Pistachio Crème Dipper pairs our velvety smooth, Italian-crafted Collection crème with our crumbly all-butter shortbread fingers for the most decadent dipping.
“Perfect for a sweet snack fix, wherever and whenever you need one, find it in your local M&S Foodhall NOW”.
Packaged similarly to how on-the-go cocktail sausages and ketchup would be, the shortbread fingers and pistachio dip looked absolutely divine.
People were quick to comment how excited they were to try the tasty food hall treat, saying they were “running” to their nearest shop.
Amassing over 14,000 likes, it seems as though the treat is going down seriously well with people.
In the comments, people said that they “need” to try the snack, with one woman saying: “Yes! This is a bit of me!”
Some also said it would be the “perfect afternoon snack” to give yourself a bit of a sugar rush for the rest of the day.
It’s not the only new release M&S has up its sleeve, as there are other foodie items getting people salivating that are on shelves now – such as the Original Peanut Butter & Jelly Munch. The M&S OG munch tins have been delighting customers and social media alike since 2021 (yes, it’s been an icon for nearly 5 years), and the hype is continuing.
This year’s moreish munch includes a delicious mix of milk chocolate peanut butter cups, fruit flavoured jellies, salted pretzels, milk chocolate coated popcorn, salted caramel white chocolate coated peanuts and white chocolate malt balls.
There’s also a delightful peanut butter and jelly spread that’s bound to get taste buds tingling. It’s smooth peanut butter swirled with seedless raspberry jam, which is an iconic combo.
The cookies that broke the internet are also back in stores, and with many customers taking to social last year to say that “the Gingerbread Cookies may be one of the best supermarket cookies we’ve ever had”, you should run and not walk if you fancy trying them, because they’re selling out super fast.
