Mum asks to look in toddler’s pocket and can’s believe what she finds inside

A mum named Amy has shared the odd things she found in her toddler daughter’s pockets after spending part of the day playing and exploring outside, and people were left baffled

A mum named Amy was left baffled as she asked to look inside her toddler’s pockets after she’d enjoyed playing outside and ended up finding some treasures.

Most parents will have stories about the crazy things their children did as they were growing up. Kids are naturally curious creatures, and mixing this with playing can call for some funny stories to look back on for years to come. One mum named Amy, who lives in Northern California has now shared the funny habit her young daughter Johnny has when playing outside, as her pockets always end up full of unexpected things.

In the video, the young child was standing in front of the camera, barefoot but wearing a pair of dungarees, as she was waiting to show her mum the things she’d captured.

“How many animals do you have in your pockets,” the mum wrote at the start of the video, which started off with her showing her toddler standing outside with one animal in each hand.

Johnny then went on to proudly show off the frog and the snake that he held in each of his hands, with the snake appearing to be the non-aggressive common garter snake, which is not harmful for humans.

The mum then went on to check the big pocket on Johnny’s dungarees, which held another snake. This wasn’t the only animals that Johnny had captures, as his two side pockets also held a small snake each.

“Do you want to hold them,” Johnny asked as he handed his mum the snake he previously held in his hand.

“Sure, I’d love to hold him,” the mum replied as she took the snake into her free hand, before Johnny asked if she also wanted to hold one of the snakes that he kept in his pocked, which the mum was heard accepting as she ended the video to get her other hand ready to hold the snake.

“Pockets full and heart full,” the mum wrote in the caption of the video along with a red heart.

And this isn’t the first time this has happened, as Amy often takes to her Instagram account, called ‘mama_and_johnnys_daily_play’ to share the things she finds in her daughter’s pockets, which often ends up being different kinds of animals.

While viewers soon flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts of the sweet moment, many claimed they would not have stayed as calm as the mum had.

“We are not the same. But I love this for you,” one viewer wrote, while another person said: “They just know he’s a Disney character and trust him so much, like they’re all so calm.”

“Momma must always check those pockets at the end of the day,” a third person said along with a cry laughing emoji. Another viewer then stated: “Get. This. Child. MORE. POCKETS!!!!”

Someone else wrote: “Man. To be a well loved toddler who just gets to be outside in overalls and picking up snakes.”
