A seemingly innocent Dream Winter Palace play set left one mother baffled after mistaking the toy horses for something rude – adding that whoever designed them must have been ‘high’
A trip to the toy store quickly descended into chaos – and it’s all thanks to some plastic horses.
One mum treated her daughter to a Dream Winter Palace play set from popular Australian retailer Kmart, but was left baffled after opening the box. At first, the woman presumed the miniature animals were unicorns due to their phallic-shaped head. However, it turns out the cheeky-looking figures were actually horses with feathers on their head.
Back in 2020, she shared a snap of the X-rated toy on Facebook, in the group Kmart Hacks and Decor, joking that the manufacturer must have been “high AF” when they made it.
“Mmmkay, Kmart,” the mum said. “Subliminal messages or the guys at the castle making factory were high AF! Huge oddly-shaped feather! That’s SO normal, holy s***!!”
Many people responded to the post, agreeing that the toy didn’t look quite right. One commented: “Yeah, that just looks wrong, oh dear!” While another proclaimed: “What a d***head.”
“That’s the most penis-looking feather I’ve ever seen,” agreed someone else. A fourth asked: “IN WHAT WORLD DOES THAT LOOK LIKE A F***ING FEATHER?”

In addition to parents discovering rude-looking children’s toys, we’ve also had some mums seeing their little ones doing rather creepy things. One mum has shared how she asked her seven-year-old son to draw her a nice picture while she had a rest and enjoyed a cup of tea.
But when Katie Paton-Hall was shown Jacob’s finished masterpiece, she was a little stunned to see he’d drawn a terrifying-looking clown. She shared the artwork on Facebook, where it quickly went viral.
“I did my housework then came back into the dining room and saw what he was painting,” the mum, from Poole, explained. “I found it hilarious. But also very good! I was very impressed with it and wanted to share his work of art.”
