Eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted an exciting chocolate addition on supermarket shelves recently. There is a new Aero flavour in the UK and shoppers with a sweet tooth are over the moon.

Aero has released a brand-new choco-caramel flavoured bar, available for purchase in Tesco and Poundland.

The 295g Aero Caramel Chocolate Giant Gifting Bar retails for £4 for Tesco Clubcard members and £5 for non-members. The new chocolate is not yet listed on Tesco’s official website, but it can be found in-store.

Additionally, a pack of four Aero Chocolate Caramel bars (27g) can be purchased in-store at Poundlands across the country for £1.50 (regular price £1.99).

It was a Facebook post which first alerted some shoppers to the new chocolate treat. The post was shared in the Food Finds UK Facebook group, a community to help track new food items down.

Because some limited-edition snacks and treats are known to sell out fast, the Facebook group proves to be a great resource for those keen to get their hands on particular finds fast. Also spotted by the group were the Assorted Toblerone Diamond Truffles Chocolate Box and Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut & Macadamia Chocolate Bar.

Fans of Aero chocolate bars are now racing to their local supermarket to find the new offering, with several people tagging friends in the comment section.

The brand frequently releases special and limited-edition flavour profiles throughout the year. One of the most exciting additions to the Aero brand this year was the Aero Coconut flavour sharing bar.

Nestlé Confectionery unveiled the bar in April 2025 and it caused an exciting stir when it hit retail shelves across the UK & Ireland. The limited-edition bar was part of the Aero Lost Bubbles campaign which saw the brand offer up a £10,000 prize for each bubble-less pack found by shoppers.

Aero has been keeping the exciting new flavours coming – last year it released two sharing bars Aero Strawberry flavour and Aero Choco-Hazelnut as well as an Aero Peppermint gifting bar.

Another exciting addition to keep an eye out for from Nestlé? The all-new KitKat Minis range, which offers the iconic crispy cocoa wafer in a fresh shareable mini format. The KitKat Two Finger Mini Mix has an assortment of flavours in one convenient bag including milk chocolate, white, hazelnut, salted caramel and peanut butter.

The KitKat Chunky Minis hit shelves in August and will be followed by the launch of the KitKat Mini Mix in September.
