Next shoppers are scrambling to snap up a pair of cowboy boots that have been slashed in price as part of the fashion retailer’s massive clearance sale. Customers who have already bagged the footwear claim they’re ‘exceptionally comfortable’ straight from the off, without any rubbing or risk of blisters.

The Tumbled Forever Comfort Cowboy Ankle Boots, originally priced at £40, are now a steal at just £17. Available in sizes three to nine, most of which are still in stock, these boots are flying off the shelves. Customers can choose between a regular fit or a wide fit option. The boots are available in either classic smooth leather or trendy suede fabric, both in black. The silver version has seen an even bigger price drop, now only £10, although sizes are almost entirely sold out.

Crafted in a classic silhouette with a pointed toe, the Cowboy Ankle Boots feature a charming stitch detail, an inside zip fastening and a chunky flared heel. Designed with ‘forever comfort’ padding, these boots promise all-day comfort and style. Pair these versatile boots with jeans for a casual, ‘off-duty’ look, or team them with your favourite dress for weekend occasions.

Meanwhile, for a chunkier style boot, New Look is selling these Brown Faux Leather Chelsea Ankle Boots for £33.99 with slip-on fastening in a ‘gorgeous reddy brown’ shade. Debenhams is also stocking these Laura Suede Cowboy Ankle Length Boots for a slashed price of £34.99, that customers have branded “lovely and light”.

Back on the Next website, one review on the ankle boots reads: “Beautiful, comfortable as soon as I wore them. They go with every outfit in my wardrobe. Lovely compliments from family and friends asking where I purchased them from. Can dress them up or down, very versatile. Highly recommend these to anyone. I particularly like the wedge heel, not too high or too low. Great purchase price.”

A second customer said: “These boots are perfect Just the right heel height and fit. Also exceptionally comfortable. So much so I bought two colours, black and tan.” A third admirer said: “Lovely comfortable boots. I can wear with dress or jeans very versatile. I would definitely purchase again.”

A fourth added: “Lovely boots, found them very comfortable, and a nice heel on them, I’ve got two pairs now, definitely would recommend buying these boots.”

Nevertheless, some customers did mention that the boots are quite ‘narrow’ which is why it’s best to ensure you select the ‘extra wide fit’ option if you have broader feet. This was highlighted in a review which read: “These boots are look lovely however, they are quite narrow in the ankle and lower calf.”
