Nifty Samsung code gets Galaxy fans this mobile for less

Samsung has reduced the price of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, so it’s a good time to buy the flagship Android phone

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
Samsung’s flagship phone has picked up a discount, so now is a great time to buy.

Now could be a really good time to buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra if you weren’t sold on the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 that the company has just announced.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra remains Samsung’s flagship phone and it’s one of the best Android phones you can buy. The reason it’s a good time to buy, is because of the summer sales.

Samsung is offering £150 off the price of Galaxy S25 Ultra and one of the advantages of buying from Samsung is the exclusive colours you can’t get anywhere else: Titanium Jadegreen, Titanium PinkGold and Titanium Jetblack.

Those colours mean you can have something a little more exclusive than everyone else who has bought the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

On top of that, Samsung also offers really easy trade-in and this is where the real savings could be found. If you have a recent phone to exchange, you could get up to £655 through Samsung’s trade-in programme. Sure, you’d have to hand over an iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1TB storage to get that deal, but you get the point.

More likely is you have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which would net you over £200 off the price of your new Samsung phone.

Samsung’s flagship phone has a discount from Samsung direct, meaning you can get your hands on one of the best phones of the year for less.

However, a drawback to the deal and worth flagging is this isn’t officially the the cheapest we’ve seen this phone. Amazon was offering the 512GB model (that’s double the storage of the normal version) for £1049 in the Prime Day sales.

That’s the cheapest the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has been from Amazon with this storage, saving £300 – but those sales have now ended. If buying the phone upfront seems a little beyond your reach, then there’s always the option to buy monthly, with Sky Mobile offering the Galaxy S25 Ultra from £43 a month.

The data then costs more, although Sky also offers a 100MB SIM free for those with limited data demands. If you’re buying from Sky Mobile then be aware that this is a 36-month device contract, but you can swap phones after 24-months.

The data is then a 12-month contract. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra offers great 6.9-inch display, but it’s really the comprehensive camera on the back of the phone that gets shoppers excited.

It offers a 200-megapixel main camera and a 5x zoom camera, as well as a 3x zoom camera. The latter of these is great for portrait shots.

There’s loads of power, making for great performance, whether you’re a gamer or a social media fan, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has plenty to offer. The experience is lifted by Samsung’s Galaxy AI additions, with the promise of 7 years of software updates and security patches.

The downside to the phone is the battery life: the 5,000mAh battery isn’t the largest you’ll find in a flagship device and the 45W charging falls behind some of its rivals like the OnePlus 13.
