If you’re yet to jump on the air fryer bandwagon or need to replace your current kitchen gadget, Ninja has slashed the price of its ‘compact’ air fryer. The good news doesn’t end there, though, as the retailer claims the Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK will also save you ‘up to 55% on your energy bill’.
Some shoppers who have already added the air fryer to their kitchen have found this to be true, with the gadget helping them to ‘keep fuel bills down’ and ‘lower electricity bills’. The Ninja air fryer usually retails for £99 and can now be yours for £78.
Air fryers are a quick and easy way to cook a variety of foods using little to no oil. They cook ‘up to 50% faster than ovens’ and produce ‘up to 75% less fat’ than traditional frying methods, making them a healthier alternative.

The Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK has a 3.8L basket and offers four cooking functions; air fry, roast, dehydrate and reheat. Over 1,300 customers have reviewed the gadget to date, with it earning an impressive average score of 4.8 out of five.
One satisfied shopper said: “My first air fryer and I’m pleased with it so far. Compact and doesn’t take up too much room on the worktop, so ideal for a small kitchen with limited space. Sufficient capacity for two people. Relatively quiet when in action.”
A second commented: “This is the very first air fryer I have ever used. I love it, and if I can use it easily then anyone can, because I’m in my 70s. I use it every day and I’m so pleased my son bought it for me as a Christmas gift. He was thinking more of trying to help me keep my fuel bills down and it’s not only very good for that reason, but food tastes so much better using my air fryer.”
Sadly one Ninja shopper was left unimpressed, as they explained: “No where near as good as the Tefal air fryer, as it doesn’t rotate the food. No matter how much your shake chips/roast potatoes, it doesn’t cook them evenly.”
Someone else, however, was delighted with their purchase, as their five-star review reads: “This is my first air fryer… It’s smaller than I thought but plenty of room for my needs. I’ve cooked jacket potatoes, salmon fillets wrapped in foil parcels for only 10 minutes, and sausages also wrapped in foil to begin then opened up to finish cooking.
“I’m liking the fact that I don’t have to put my oven on for 15 minutes before the food goes in. I’m expecting a lower electricity bill this month. I’ll be cooking more as time goes on. It’s exciting.”
