Liam and Noel Gallagher embarked on their comeback Oasis tour earlier this year after decades of feuding with each other, and it’s claimed the pair have filmed the whole thing
Noel and Liam Gallagher are said to be aiming for Oscar success with their new concert film. Earlier this year, the brothers embarked on their Oasis reunion tour after decades of fallouts between the pair.
However, it seems the pair are now hoping they could bag themselves an Oscar or possibly a BAFTA as they turn their hand to film. A film documenting their reunion tour is set to be released, which will feature behind-the-scenes footage.
Magna Studios is behind the documentary, which will include the moment Noel and Liam came back together for the first time. It has been reported that the brothers think they could be in with a chance of winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film and the equivalent award at the Baftas.

It’s unknown when the movie is due to be released, but it would need to come out by March next year to put it in the running for 2027 Oscar nominations.
The Sun reported that a source said: “This film has captured music history and the footage is incredible. The drama off stage, covering the steps that began their reunion, are as good as any Hollywood blockbuster.
“It really is dynamite. The brothers are opening up in a way we have never seen before. It will be very emotional for not only them to look back on, but fans, too. The studio is now reviewing what steps they have to take for the movie to be entered into these major awards.”
This comes as Oasis paid a sweet tribute to their guitarist Bonehead after he was forced to pull out of the next leg of their world comeback tour.
The 60-year-old was present for all of the band’s iconic UK gigs, but earlier this month shared the sad news he had been diagnosed with cancer again. It comes three years after he got the all clear from tonsil cancer in 2022.
It’s hoped Bonehead will be well enough to rejoin the band when they play huge gigs on the final leg of their tour in Argentina, Chile and Brazil next month.
Liam and Noel made sure that the guitarist was still a part of the tour by bringing a cardboard cut out of Bonehead on the road with them. Posting a snap of it on his Instagram account, Bonehead appeared to show his approval as he wrote in the caption: “Play it loud Amigos.”
Addressing Bonehead’s diagnosis in a statement, the Gallagher brothers said: “Wishing you all the best with your treatment Bonehead – we’ll see you back on stage in South America.”
A source close to Oasis also told the Mirror: “The band have known about the diagnosis from the outset and were fully behind Bonehead. Of course they wanted him to play the tour, but also Liam and Noel were clear his health comes first.
“It is great he has played most of the shows and should only miss a few dates. Nothing is 100% confirmed but it is likely someone will be filling in for Bonehead on rhythm guitar for the dates he can’t play.”
