Ange Postecoglou has found himself under a lot of pressure at the City Ground after failing to win any of his seven games in charge of the club.
Nottingham Forest are reportedly lining up former Everton manager Sean Dyche as a potential replacement for Ange Postecoglou. The Australian is under pressure after taking charge of just seven Forest matches.
The Tricky Trees have failed to win any of the matches under the guidance of the former Tottenham Hotspur boss, losing five and drawing two. During the 3-2 Europa League loss against Midtjylland, some sections of the City Ground fanbase could be heard singing ‘sacked in the morning’ towards their manager.
Forest have since fallen to a 2-0 Premier League loss against Newcastle United before the international break, piling more pressure on Postecoglou. There has now been more speculation about potential replacements.

The Telegraph report that the manager is expected to be in the dugout for next weekend’s Premier League home match against Chelsea after the international break, but a loss could lead to owner Evangelos Marinakis pulling the trigger.
The Forest owner is said to already be sounding out potential replacements with Dyche emerging as the front-runner. He has been out of work since leaving Everton back in January.
Marco Silva, as well as former manager Steve Cooper, are two other names said to have been looked at, but both are currently in roles that would mean compensation having to be paid. Silva is with fellow Premier League side Fulham, while Cooper joined Danish side Brondby last month.
Five points from their opening seven Premier League games of the season see Forest sit just one place and one point above the relegation zone in the table. Speaking following the loss against Newcastle last week, Postecoglou revealed that he expected to hold talks with the club’s hierarchy, but sent a defiant message.
“I expect to have a discussion with the owner and everyone at the football club about what we have embarked on here and where we’re at and what we need to do, for sure, yes,” he said.
“If people want to make an assessment on me after three and a half weeks, there is nothing I can do about that. At the same time, there is nothing wrong with things being tough – it’s OK!
“I had an option – I could have been sitting on a couch watching the game today and not been in the middle of it. I would much rather be here. I love a fight. So what if it’s a fight, if it’s a struggle? It’s OK!
“If people outside don’t think I’m the right person – or even internally don’t think that – it makes no difference to me. I took this role on knowing it would be a massive challenge in terms of what we’re trying to do and changing the direction of the club.
“Nothing I have seen in the last three and a half weeks has changed my view on that. I love the challenge of taking this club to where it needs to be. I’m very confident we’ll get there.”
