Oasis are performing their first hometown show since 2009 this weekend, and it’s set to be supersonic. Once warring brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher left fans completely gobsmacked last August when they confirmed that they had finally ended their feud, almost 15 years to the day after the band split.
But this weekend, things will change as the band roll with it to Heaton Park, Manchester, for the first of five sold-out concerts. They’ll first take to the stage on Friday, July 11 and again on Saturday, July 12. But they’ll have a short break before returning on July 16, 19 and 20.
Each night, they’ll perform their biggest hits to around 80,000 excited fans who had spent hours in a virtual queue on sites including Ticketmaster and See Tickets to get their hands on tickets for the event, which many imagined would never happen. As the events unfold, the Mirror will be bringing you the latest information.
