Liam and Noel Gallagher are performing in Edinburgh for three nights as part of their huge worldwide comeback tour Oasis Live 25
Oasis mania is continuing to take the world by storm and last night was no different as the band took to the stage for their second sold-out show at the Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland.
However, Liam Gallagher, 52, hasn’t had the best relationship with Edinburgh council after they were outed as criticising Oasis fans in briefings for the tour. And on Saturday night frontman Liam let rip on stage after Oasis’ following were branded ‘middle aged men who take up room’.
Taking no prisoners, Liam took a moment during the show he fumed: “Still waiting for a f****** apology. Two billion pounds we’ll have brought into this city over the next few days – two f*****g billion – and you’ll see none of it,”

“And they’ve got the f*****g cheek to slag us lot off,” he added. “The amount of money we’re going to bring in, they’ll split with their posh, ugly mates.”
As the duo started playing their iconic song Bring It On Down to 70,000 revellers, he continued: “Still waiting for our apology… bring it on down!”
Officials are said to have previously claimed that the thousands of Oasis fans posed a risk to the capital’s Fringe Festival and will be mainly “rowdy middle-aged men” who “take up more room” and will drink to “medium to high intoxication”.
Liam took to X in June to have his say as he expressed in a sweary rant: “To the Edinburgh council I’ve heard what you said about OASIS fans and quite frankly your attitude f*****g stinks I’d leave town that day if I was any of you lot.
“I’d love to see a picture of all the people on the Edinburgh council bet there’s some real STUNNING individuals. F***k them.”
Liam and Noel, 58, will take to the stage at Murrayfield stadium one last time on Tuesday 12 August after performing on Friday and Saturday.
They will then head to Ireland to play two shows at Croke Park in Dublin on 16 and 17 August before travelling to Canada and America for shows in Toronto, Chicago, LA and Mexico City.
The brothers will return to London for two more big gigs at Wembley towards the end of September, before entering the last leg with shows in Asia, Australia and South America. Their last show is scheduled for 23 November in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The Oasis Live’ 25 Tour began on 4 July at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff before they headed to their native Manchester with five shows at Heaton Park. They then did five shows in London’s Wembley’s Stadium before their current dates in Scotland.
The pair announced their comeback tour in August 2024, with them sharing the news on social media and saying: “This is it, this is happening. The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
This is the first time Liam and Noel have performed together in 15 years, following their highly-publicised fall-out which led to them icing each other out of their lives.
Fans have been going gaga for Oasis all over the world, with tickets selling out within minutes and thousands descending on each city to see the much-loved duo.
