August is the beginning of the end for summer 2025. And while we have enjoyed a huge amount of incredible music this year, we’re beginning to wind down into the colder months of solo headline tours and album releases.

With that said, we’re not down and out just yet. Over the next few weeks, British music fans still have a plethora of massive artists performing around the country.

From Oasis and Coldplay to Chappell Roan and Shawn Mendes… there’s a huge array of tastes and styles. And that’s before you look closely at festival line-ups.

Below, we’ve listed the biggest and best names and festivals with concerts and shows across the UK this August. Tickets are still available from either resale website viagogo or retailer Ticketmaster – both of which are linked below.

viagogo and resale tickets

Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

Oasis

Oasis are very much the talk of the town, at the moment – and with good reason. The Gallagher brothers have reunited to play some of the biggest shows of their career, and they have some gigs this month in Scotland – over the next week – to continue their Oasis Live ’25 tour.

Tickets for these are readily available on resale website viagogo, while Ticketmaster has had some tickets come and go over the past few weeks. Here’s the links:

After months of anticipation, Coldplay will be bringing their Music of the Spheres tour to the UK this month. And once they arrive, they’ll be playing 12 shows across the country.

With two shows in Hull and ten in London, there are plenty of opportunities for fans to get involved with the band’s iconic live sound. Be warned, however: the Jumbotron kiss-cam will be making an appearance, as well. So if you’ve got something to hide, maybe grab the cheap seats at the back.

The monumental pop band who previously took hold of BST Hyde Park are back – and this time, for some shows that are bigger than ever. On August 15 and 16, Blackpink will be residing over Wembley Stadium for two enormous shows.

Tickets for these are available right now with plenty of options left. And, what’s more, they’re cheaper than ever, with some tickets dropping to around £90 each.

Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes’ tour has sprawled the entirety of the world. And the final stop on his journey is in the UK.

Mendes is an artist who likes to do things well, and because of that, he’s only playing one show in Great Britain this year, and it’s at London’s O2 Arena. Thankfully, there are tickets floating about – but act fast if you’re keen.

Finally, as summer begins to wane, there are precious few festival experiences left in this year. Reading & Leeds festival 2025 will cap off August, taking over the bank holiday, with some massive artists on the docket.

From Bring Me The Horizon and Chappell Roan to Limp Bizkit and Hozier – this is a hugely varied line-up with some massive names. Tickets are still available with some exclusions, so be quick if you want to attend.
