Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff’s cause of death has been confirmed by authorities weeks after the ex-wife of David Hasselhoff was found deceased at home
Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff’s death has been confirmed weeks after the actress died aged 62. Former Baywatch star Pamela was found dead at home on March 5 after family “hadn’t heard from her in days”. She was discovered to have passed at her Los Angeles home.
Now, it has been confirmed she died by suicide. TMZ confirmed her cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Law enforcement sources told the publication at the time that family members hadn’t heard from the star, so they went to check on her at her house. It’s said that is when they found her.
Following the news of her tragic death, ex husband David Hasselhoff told the publication: “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.” Pamela and David were married from 1989 to 2006, with the two sharing daughters Hayley, 32, and Taylor, 34.
In the days that followed her death her daughters paid sweet tributes to their mum. In a heartbreaking Instagram tribute, Taylor Hasselhoff-Fiore said goodbye by sharing a slideshow of throwback images on her Stories.
Alongside the upload, which seemingly was initially shared at Mother’s Day last year, Taylor wrote: “I’d do anything in the world to hug you again, my forever angel. You are my best friend, my whole heart, my everything.”
She continued to promise she will make her mum proud and “celebrate you everyday,” before explaining her daughter, London, will always know all about her. Taylor added: “London will know all about how incredible you are & I promise I will protect Hayley forever…
“Mama I love you so much, the pain is unbearable but I will be strong for you & hold onto your memory until we meet again my beautiful.”
It’s thought Taylor’s sister was at the scene after their mother was found deceased. A neighbour alleged Hayley was heard “screaming and crying” outside her mother’s home and was reportedly going in and out of her parent’s property. Neighbour Hiromi Osieck said of Hayley’s anguish: “She was hysterical, yelling, screaming, crying on the street.”
A week after her mum’s death, Hayley shared her own tribute. She shared throwback image of her as a baby with her mum and wrote: “Mama, last night was one of the hardest. I don’t know if it’s because it’s been a week since your passing or the synchronisation of the rain tonight, just like the night of.
“I pray that one day I can find comfort in the sound of rain again, as it’ll symbolize your spirit going to heaven, but for now, all I hear is my heart aching for you.”
She went on to describe how her heart is “shattered” before saying her mum will “always be my best friend, my heard, and my whole world”.
Finishing up her emotional words, she said: “This unbreakable bond will stay with us forever. We will make you proud, I promise. I love you, Mama. ‘I love you’ will never be enough because my whole heart is yours, and it always will be. I love you, my beautiful, beautiful mama, until the end of time.”
