Paris Jackson took to social media to slam criticism of her Paris Fashion Week outfit, telling those unhappy that we are all just animals who should be happy in our bodies
Paris Jackson has scolded those who criticised her appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
The singer and daughter of the late Michael Jackson took to the annual event in the French capital showcasing a daring look. She opted to attend in a sheer gown which didn’t hide her breasts or her crotch. The off-the-shoulder look from Stella McCartney’s spring 2025 collection brought backlash from some corners.
However, she has since released a number of videos on social media questioning those who were offended. She was heard asking why people are uncomfortable with the human body and said we see other animals naked all the time. Taking to TikTok, Paris began her rant from her bed, saying: “I would just like to point out that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we’re animals. We are animals. At one point we abided by the laws of nature…”
She went on: “I don’t really understand why the human body is a driving force for discomfort in so many people. Like, i’s just a body. It’s just a body on a human which is an animal. We look at other naked animals all the time.”
Paris joked that she was guilty of sometimes putting a dog in a sweater, but added: “We’re just animals. Don’t get uncomfortable with our bodies. Like, it’s your body. You’ve got one, I’ve got one, it’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s just a human body.”
Despite saying she may have gone a little bit too far with her words, Paris reiterated her thoughts. “The point is, we’re all animals, okay. We’re all animals, we’ve all got bodies, it’s not that big of a deal and we’ve got bigger fish to fry. Let’s do something for the environment, man. Let’s do something for the planet, man. Stop freaking out about nipples, man.”
It’s not the first time Paris’ appearance has drawn comment. In 2023, she hit back at those slamming her for having arm pit her on show. It came after she shared a sweet tribute for her late dad’s 65th birthday. The clip showed her wearing a loose sleeveless dress. As she pulled up her hair up in she revealed her underarm hair in the process.
But after comments were made she hit back on Twitter/X saying: “I wasn’t tying my hair up to show off my armpit hair. I’ve not shaved it for years and forget it’s there all the time. get over yourselves.” Making light of the comments, she went on to joke: “I was pulling my hair up to show my glass cutting jawline.”
Her clap back led to others praising her openness, with some saying her dad would be proud with her. “Love you paris, armpit hair and jawline included lmao” another joked.
