Actor Paul Mescal made sure to support his singer girlfriend Gracie Abrams at her Glastonbury set as they continued to party until the early hours and share a kiss
Paul Mescal was spotted locking lips with singer Gracie Abrams following her performance at Glastonbury. The couple, who recently sparked engagement rumours, partied until the early hours together at the world famous festival.
Gladiator actor Paul made sure to support his girlfriend as she performed on The Other Stage alongside his sister Nell, his Normal People co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones and her photographer boyfriend Ben Seed. Fellow Irish star Andrew Scott also joined the group as they supported Gracie.
The chart-topper performed her hits including That’s So True, Close To You and I Love You, I’m Sorry before she rejoined Paul and their pals. They all then headed over to watch DJ Seth Troxler and partied until 3am.
At one point, Paul and Gracie were spotted sharing a passionate kiss. She changed into some more comfortable clothes and wore a pair of red tracksuit bottoms with a white top while Paul kept cool in some blue shorts and a long-sleeved white T-shirt.
A source told the Sun, who saw the photo: “Paul and Gracie were all over each other and couldn’t resist a cheeky snog while their pals used the loos. Gracie was still full of energy despite playing on The Other Stage just hours before.
“The group were clearly still on a high from her magical performance as the sun set over Worthy Farm.” Earlier this year, Gracie had been spotted wearing a diamond ring that quickly sparked intense speculation that the duo were set to take their relationship to the next level.
Celebrity gossip page Deux Moi also questioned if the big jewel was an engagement ring, sharing a snap of Gracie in Melbourne performing on stage while waring the big bit of bling on her engagement finger.
However, in their next public appearance Paul and Gracie appeared to want to play down the speculation. They were in Cannes for the annual Film Festival but made sure to keep their distance as they walked the red carpet separately.
Gracie and Paul got together almost a year ago. However, they had seemed as though they were ready to split months before engagement rumours spiralled.
In January, they were reportedly dining in a London restaurant when onlookers spotted what was possibly a break-up. Singer Gracie was said to have burst into floods of tears before storming out of the eatery.
The couple were said to have been enjoying a bite to eat in North London before things took a dramatic turn. Fellow diners claimed Paul had his “head in his hands as Gracie just sat there crying” at one point.
“She was crying so much that he then started to cry too,” one onlooker claimed. “She eventually got up and walked out of the restaurant while they were halfway through their meal and he was left to pay the bill before leaving shortly afterwards.”
