British singer Pixie Lott has announced the birth of her second child with a heart-warming Instagram post, where she shares a glimpse of her adorable newborn tot
Pixie Lott has given birth to her second child, revealing that she has welcomed a baby boy with her husband Oliver Cheshire. The 34-year-old is already mum to son Albert Charles, who was born in November 2023.
The singer took to Instagram to share the happy news of her second son’s arrival, writing: “He’s here.” Alongside the caption, she shared a video of the newborn.
The clip sees her young son – whose name she is yet to reveal – hold her finger with his tiny hand and kick his feet in his crib. Fans have flooded the comments of her post with well-wishes, with one writing: “Aww congratulations to you all xx.”
Another said: “Beautiful!!! Congratulations you guys.” A third wrote: “Congratulations he’s perfect xxx”
Back in June, Pixie announced that she was pregnant with her second child. She told fans at the time: “I’m having another baby!”
Pixie later took to her Instagram to confirm the news, singing along to one of her songs with the lyrics: “I’m over caring what the weirdos think of me, leave it all behind, it’s a projection of their insecurities, I just cut the ties, I’m a mother, of another,” as she exposed her bump.
The Mama Do singer opened up earlier this year about struggling to balance work and family life due to suffering severe sickness in the first trimester of her second pregnancy.
She told the Daily Mail: “I felt very sick during my first trimester, and I didn’t have that during my first at all, which was a lot because I was working as well.
“I was juggling a lot. The second trimester I had a lot of energy, and I was playing festivals, so it went by really quickly.”
Pixie added: “Obviously, your body changes so much so it’s been fun dressing my bump. It’s amazing what the human body does to prepare for a life. I feel really lucky because I have been able to perform at the same time.”
Pixie and her husband Oliver kept her first pregnancy under wraps until she was 31 weeks pregnant, taking to Instagram with a shot of her baby bump.
“We are beyond excited to announce we are expecting our first child together and cannot wait to start a family of our own,” she wrote at the time.
