Controversial adult star Bonnie Blue was allegedly assaulted at a ‘barely legal’ Freshers club event last week, and now the police have issued a new update on the ‘violence’
The police have issued a new statement after Bonnie Blue was allegedly “punched in the face” at one of her controversial ‘barely legal’ Freshers parties.
The adult star, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was at Sheffield’s Onyx nightclub last Thursday as part of her contentious UK university tour which features her lewd “Bang Bus” and various “activities”.
Chaos then unfolded 40 minutes after Bonnie arrived at the event at 1am, when a woman allegedly queued up to meet the adult film star before punching her in the jaw.
The 26-year-old was taking snaps with partygoers when the alleged incident broke out. An eyewitness claimed: “I saw a woman talking to their friend while standing next to Bonnie Blue. They turned to Bonnie, turned back to their friend, and then punched Bonnie square in the jaw.”
Videos taken by fans at the scene show police outside the venue dealing with the suspects. At the time, South Yorkshire Police said in a statement: “At 1.22am today (Friday 19 September), we were called to reports of a disturbance at Onyx nightclub on Portobello Street, Sheffield.
“It is reported that a woman was assaulted at the nightclub, suffering no injuries. A woman was detained at the scene and later released. The incident has been filed pending further information coming to light.”
And now the force has told The Mirror: “Our officers have spoken to all involved parties and arrangements have been made to finalise the case through an outcome of restorative justice.”
Bonnie Blue entered Onyx Nightclub at around 1am on Friday morning with the Bang Bus parked further down Fitzwilliam Street.
Video footage emerged showing the massive queues and numerous security guards present at her arrival. Another onlooker described the atmosphere as “incredibly tense” prior to the alleged assault.
Billed as the ‘wildest freshers night,’ venues across multiple cities have hosted Bonnie’s bus, offering ‘interactive mini-games’ and ‘high-energy DJ sets’, but strictly no sexual behaviour.
Despite the risqué name of the ‘Bang Bus’, Onyx Nightclub decided to issue a ‘no sex’ warning ahead of the adult star’s arrival. The event site, Skiddle, stated: “This is a night built for making new friends, laughing until your cheeks hurt, and throwing yourself into the wildest Freshers experience in Sheffield.
“Important Notice: This event is a safe space for all. No sexual behaviour is permitted inside the venue – respect others and enjoy the party the right way.”
Since the alleged attack, Bonnie has ramped up security measures to keep fans out of reach. The adult star was recently spotted in Lincoln flanked by two burly security guards, the Daily Star reports. She has her security detail with her at all times. The Mirror has approached Bonnie’s team and South Yorkshire Police for comment.
t’s not the first time that Bonnie has feared for her safety due to her controversial work. The star proudly uses rage-bait to fuel engagement with fans in a bid to boost subscribers to her adult content. But her antagonistic approach means she faces threats daily.
A recent Channel 4 show, titled “1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story” revealed just how “isolating” Bonnie’s line of work can be. Admitting she never gets to go out alone – both in the UK and on the trips she takes abroad for work – she says in the show: “The last time I went out by myself was probably about six months ago. Now it is not that safe. I get 100s of death threats a day, so it is not that safe when I walk around.”
The star confessed that she’s worried about being attacked with acid on the street. “I say, ‘It is going to happen at some point, someone will come and give me stick’ and fair play to her, at least they are getting up off their sofa. My worst one is acid, if someone did acid, and I could see some spiteful girl doing that,” she tells the documentary.
It has also been revealed that tensions grew in the club before the alleged assault, with Bonnie getting into a heated argument with another partygoer before the incident.
A woman has now taken to TikTok to share the argument she had with Bonnie at the event. In her initial video, the clubber, known online as Ffi, can be seen filming herself while she talks to the adult star in the background.
Bonnie says at the start of the clip: “Your hair looks so cool,” to which Ffi replies: “Thank you, but do you know how many years you’ve set back feminism?”
Bonnie then says “get out, I haven’t” before Fifi claims “You’ve made so many women’s lives s****.” The debate continues, and Bonnie insists she’s “not made anyone’s life s****”. The clip ends with Bonnie saying “Get these fat f******s out”.
In response to her video going viral, Ffi has now spoken out in another video about the exchange, clarifying that she wasn’t the woman who allegedly punched Bonnie.
“I obviously confronted her and posted a video about it. It wasn’t me who punched her,” the woman said. “I don’t agree with what she’s doing, I can happily say that I said nothing wrong.
She continued: “I said what I wanted to say and then she obviously chose to call me fat and my friend, which I think just says it all really.”
Fifi says in the clip that she chose to confront Bonnie about her controversial job – which involves sleeping with ‘barely legal’ teens and filming it for adult platforms – because “nobody else says it”.
A witness who claims to have seen the exchange between Ffi and Bonnie reportedly revealed: “A girl had said something to Bonnie about how she was setting feminism back. We were behind them in the queue, and we overheard Bonnie telling her security to ‘get those fat f**** away from me.'”.
The Mirror has approached Bonnie’s team for comment.
