The Shark WandVac 1.0 Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner is on offer for £77.99 – down from its usual £159 price tag – and it’s all part of Amazon’s Black Friday Week
Amazon has cut the price of a cordless Shark vacuum as part of their Black Friday Week deals. The Shark WandVac 1.0 Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner, originally priced at £159, is now available for £77.99.
The huge sale event is now only a few days away, landing this Friday November 29, and Amazon has added a new deal for cleaning fans. Now £81 cheaper in price it even beats the price at Shark’s own site where it’s £114.
Weighing in at only 700g – roughly the equivalent of two cans of Coke – this handheld vacuum comes with a duster crevice tool and a multi-surface pet tool, making it ideal for busy homes and families with children or pets. And has been designed to display on the countertop in its nifty charging station.

With a run time of eight minutes on one single charge it’s an ideal device for quick food pick ups and cleans inbetween your main vacuum runs. With a rating of 4.4 stars from 5,705 reviews, one customer said: “In my opinion, this is worth absolutely every penny they charge.
“Initially I thought the price was quite steep for only eight minutes of battery time but it’s important to remember that you’re not using this as a proper vacuum. This is a handheld vacuum for doing spot cleaning such as a spillage or small areas of cleaning. For a proper cleaning you would use a full size vacuum. Eight minutes is a long time when you are spot cleaning only.”
Another reviewer said: “I have been using the Dyson hand held vacuum for my kitchen for many years but having had recurrent problems with last one in particular, I decided to look for an alternative brand. I have opted for this beautiful and elegant Shark mini vacuum and I must say this was one of the best investments I have ever made, it is powerful, lightweight, very well made and it takes so very little space on my worktop”, as MyLondon reported.
They added: “I love it and it looks beautiful in my kitchen. I have been using it for a few weeks and it has performed brilliantly. Highly recommended.” However, not all reviews were positive. One person wrote: “Disappointing. This cleaner has little or no suction at all.”
Another reviewer stated: “This product is good to look at. However when it comes to functional performance it’s a huge, disappointing let down. Even on the full power setting it is incapable of picking up the smallest amount of dust. Given the cost and brand name, it is a huge disappointment. My comments relate to this product only. I bought a Shark upright which was excellent.”
If you’re looking for an alternative, you could consider the TOWER Handheld Vacuum Cleaner, which is available at Currys for £43.99. It weighs 1kg and has a run time of up to 30 minutes.
