The store’s ‘versatile’ new top in three summer colours has delighted shoppers who ‘need’ to buy it
Primark is stocking a “cute” new summer vest in several colours — including butter yellow, which has been dubbed the colour of the season. The “versatile” £6 vest has been showcased in several viral social media videos.
The ribbed tests are sleeveless, with button detailing down the length of the top. They’re available in pastel pink, yellow, and black. In a recent post on TikTok, @Chris_fairley showed off the pink and yellow versions of the button-down ribbed vest, which he’d spotted in-store in Liverpool.
Elsewhere, @Prmark_lincoln praised the same vests, telling shoppers they are “so nice and thick.” @Prmrktraffordpalazzo also filmed a close-up video of the new vests, highlighting the yellow, pink, and black colour options.
Viewers loved what they saw. Each of the posts received lots of comments from excited shoppers. Several customers were so excited that they said they “need” the new styles. One fan replied: “So cute. Need these in my life.” A second said: “I want some of these.” A similar comment read: “I need the black one so badly.” Someone else wrote: “That yellow so cute.”
On Primark’s website, the vest is described as a “slim fit ribbed vest with button front and a round neck.” The description says: “Keep things simple with this button down ribbed vest. Shoppers could also take inspiration from Primark’s product pictures to see how the models wore the vests. For instance, in one picture, Primark paired the pink vest top with a white maxi skirt. In another, the yellow vest is styled with a black tiered skirt. Meanwhile, the black vest top looks great with green shorts in the product pictures.
