People have been ‘obsessing’ over the long and flowing dress online that has recently been released in the high street store
Primark shoppers have been falling in love with a “flattering” and elegant dress that would look great on holiday or for celebrating a special occasion. And it’s quite affordable too, with a price tag under £30.
It was shown off online by TikTok user Nikki (@nikki2019_), who said she “had to” get two colours of the Lola V-Neck Maxi Dress because she was “that obsessed”. She claimed that “Primark is coming through this year!” as she showed off her latest purchases from the discount fashion store.
She added: “It has a crochet detail and is really flattering on my mum-tum.” The TikTok user also told viewers that it came with lining “up to the knee area” and added that this would eliminate any worries about underwear showing through.
The dress comes from a new collection designed by Paula Echevarria. It is available in three colours – red, green and black. Shoppers can get them for £26.
Primark suggests pairing the “elegant” dress with heels, a clutch bag, and chunky jewellery to make a statement when celebrating a special occasion. The maxi dress also features “a stylish V-neckline and delicate ruffle cap sleeves”.
Plenty were impressed by the dress online and commented on Nikki’s video. One said: “Oh this is stunning.” Another added: “It’s giving Spanish vibes and I’m here for that!”
A third commented: “I’m gonna have to head to [Primark] becuase this dress is beautiful!” And, someone else wrote: “I got it in red for my holiday, going to try and get the black today. It looks like it won’t crease either.”
A fifith person asked: “You look fab! What is the sizing like please?” Nikki responded: “I’m an 18 and I actually got a large.”
The dress is available in sizes XS to XXL, meaning that most shoppers should be able to find something that fits their body shape. Primark has a few handy tools online, one of which converts numbered dress sizes to the XS-XXL scale and another that checks if your local store has the size and colour you like in stock.
Some Primark’s may also have the handy option of click and collect, avoiding any need to go rummaging through the rails of the store. However, this isn’t available in every Primark just yet – but plans have been announced that every branch should be set up to offer this by the end of 2025.
