Former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt is set to dazzle the crowd at this year’s SHEIN Women’s Football Awards. The night, quickly becoming known as ‘the Oscars of women’s football’, is scheduled to light up London on Thursday 1 May with its A-list sparkle.

The glamorous event promises an evening of high-octane excitement as Kimberly, recognised for her global chartbusters with the iconic girl group Pussycat Dolls, gets ready to deliver a thrilling DJ performance. The football elite will gather to honour the exemplary contributions made both on and off the field.

Kimberley rose to fame as a member of the pop group and dance ensemble The Pussycat Dolls. Since the band’s hiatus at the start of 2020, the mum-of-three has gone on to appear on shows like Dancing On Ice and Don’t Look Down.

But she’s now set to return to her musical roots. “I can’t wait to perform at this year’s Women’s Football Awards!” Kimberley said ahead of the gig. “I’m incredibly excited for what’s set to be a phenomenal night, celebrating the winners and all the inspiring role models who are driving women’s football forward.”

Hosting the prestigious ceremony will be a high-profile trio: BBC icon Gabby Logan, Sky Sports ‘ own Jamie Carragher, and the renowned former England player Eni Aluko. Together, they will laud the efforts of players, teams, and the unsung heroes in community football.

The gala isn’t just attracting the who’s who of the football world but also stars from various other arenas. Spice Power’s Melanie C, the multi-talented Myleene Klass, chart sensation Pixie Lott, alongside beloved television faces like Alex Scott and Roman Kemp are among the celebrities expected to grace the red carpet.

Commenting on the upcoming event, host Eni Aluko added:. “The Women’s Football Awards is Europe’s biggest celebration of the women’s game and every year, it just gets bigger and better.

“We’re thrilled to have Gabby Logan joining the hosting line-up this year, and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt spinning the decks at the after-party.We’ve got a hugely exciting event in store. I’m proud to be part of this incredible celebration of success across women’s football once again.”

This year’s Women’s Football Awards has an impressive list of nominees including Chelsea’s Lauren James, Keira Walsh, and Aggie Beever-Jones. Arsenal’s Alessia Russo, Manchester United’s Grace Clinton and Bayern Munich’s Georgia Stanway are also vying for awards.

Football pioneer and Lioness Keira Walsh is set to receive a special recognition award at the ceremony.

Brands and organisations such as Three UK, Adobe, Lidl, Victoria’s Secret and Sky Sports have been shortlisted for their dedication to promoting women in football. Alongside online fashion retailer SHEIN, other notable sponsors for the event include The Premier League, VISA and Scottish Power.
