If you’ve read Quicksilver by Callie Hart, you may be missing out on several extra chapters
Quicksilver fans are only just realising there are several extra chapters they’ve never seen before available to read for free.
Callie Hart’s bestselling novel was published in June 2024, and is described as a “highly addictive enemies-to-lovers romantasy”. It follows Saeris Fane, a pickpocket with some strange powers who inadvertently re-opens a gateway between realms.
She is transported to a land of ice and snow where she meets Kingfisher, a handsome Fae warrior with secrets of his own. Fans of series like Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas were quick to read and recommend Quicksilver, with the book going on to attract an impressive 4.41 average rating across over 326,000 reviews on Goodreads.
But despite the book being out since last year, some fans are only just discovering that there are extra bonus chapters from Kingfisher’s point of view.
Posting to TikTok in February, Marcella (@cellauad) said: “If you read Quicksilver this is a PSA, in case like me, you didn’t know there are extra chapters with Kingfisher’s POV on Callie Hart’s website.
“What? This is your sign to go read it if you haven’t read it already. I don’t know how I didn’t know about this, but I plan to do it ASAP, it’s exactly what I needed.”
Marcella wasn’t the only Quicksilver fan who didn’t know about the bonus chapters. In the comments section, one wrote: “Wait what!?!? RUNNING.” A second said: “I heard about this yesterday or the day before myself! Soon as I finish the book I’m reading it.”
A third fan commented: “OMGGGGGGGG,” while another added: “Ooo I didn’t know this!!” Even author Callie Hart herself reacted to the video with a series of love heart emojis.
The bonus chapters are available to read for free on Callie’s website. Readers have reacted positively to the extra material, with Katelyn writing: “I finished Quicksilver and saw these on Callie’s stories on IG. I sprinted over here and WOW! I was not disappointed in the slightest.”
Jessica added: “I would love the whole book from Fisher’s point of view, now that would be sooo good! I just love Quicksilver it has fast become one of my favourite books.”
Brimstone, the sequel to Quicksilver, will be published on November 18, 2025. A synopsis for the forthcoming novel reads: “Saeris Fane is beginning to realize just how much her life has changed with her extraordinary new powers … but if she doesn’t act quickly to figure out how to close off the gateway to her magic before the power becomes too volatile, she may destroy everyone and everything she’s ever loved.”
