Cheshire police have launched an urgent search for a mum who vanished following a morning run.
The 38-year-old was last spotted in the early hours of Saturday morning. Since then, underwater search teams and sniffer dogs have been deployed in the search for her. Police officials have said they are becoming “increasingly concerned” for her welfare and are engaged in “following a number of inquiries to trace” her.
She was last seen by family in the Barnton area of Northwich before a more recent sighting at around 3:50am around five miles away at the Sandiway garage on the A556 road. At the garage, Rachel bought milk and wine following a run that lasted around 45 minutes.
Police said it is believed she may have travelled to the Oakmere area of Delamere.
