Rattled Nigel Farage moans Keir Starmer put him at risk in unhinged Trump-style rant

The Reform leader, who has repeatedly backed absolute free speech complained about the Labour leader’s “language”, and claimed “antifa” and the “radical left” would be coming after him

Rattled Nigel Farage moaned that Keir Starmer had put him at risk of “radical left” violence in a weird Donald Trump-esque response to the PM’s Labour Conference Speech.

The Reform leader, who has repeatedly backed absolute free speech, and was accused of inciting racist hatred with his infamous “breaking point” poster, complained about the Labour leader’s “language”.

And after being accused by Starmer of relying on the politics of grievance, Farage said he was “shocked at his behaviour”.

“The Prime Minister has decided to descend into the gutter,” Farage complained. “And all of the cabinet with him.”

In the 11 minute rant, claimed several Reform policies had been branded “racist” – without mentioning the policy that actually has.

He said Reform want to deport illegal migrants, for only British citizens to be eligible for benefits, and for foreign criminals to be removed from the country, claiming Labour have branded those policies racist. They have not.

But he didn’t mention the policy that actually has been branded racist – his plan to round up and deport people who have lived here for years and have been legally granted indefinite leave to remain.

And copying Donald Trump ’s talking points, he suggested “antifa” and the “radical left” would respond with violence – even going so far as to invoke slain American right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk.

“This language will incite and encourage the radical left,” he said.

“I’m thinking of antifa and other organisations like that. It directly threatens the safety of our elected officials and our campaigners. And frankly in the wake of the Charlie Kirk murder I think this is an absolute disgrace.”

He went on to whine that he now thought the Prime Minister was “unfit” to hold that office.

“I used to think the Prime Minister was a decent man,” he said.

“Someone I could talk to and chat to. We might disagree on worldview, but I thought he was a profoundly decent human being. I am completely shocked at his behaviour. I hope when he wakes up tomorrow morning he feels ashamed at what he has done. “

He also complained about Keir Starmer suggesting he doesn’t like Britain, before reeling off a list of ways Britain is awful, and only he can fix it.
