The problems with Reddit began at around 5am, according to website disruption tracker Down Detector, and its website is currently showing a blank page with an error message
Reddit users are frustrated this morning because the social media site is down.
Thousands of users are reporting issues with Reddit, which displays an error message on its website. It shows a blank page and reads “no healthy upstream”. The problems began at around 5am, according to website disruption tracker Down Detector.
It is understood the site and its app are struggling to connect to its backend servers. The official Reddit status page states that the site is currently running as normal despite being down for thousands of users. Reddit also hasn’t acknowledged the issue on its official account on X, formerly known as Twitter. There are reports of issues for users across both the UK and US. The Mirror has contacted Reddit for comment.
Social media users have shared their ire on X. One user said: “What happened to Reddit? It’s been down for hours.” Another stated: “Reddit is down. Shows you the extent of my life if I notice it’s down at 4am.” A third regular user said: “Reddit is down. how am i supposed to waste time at the office?”
