The Rodial 12 Days of Rodial Advent Calendar is packed with some of the brand’s most loved and viral products – and it’s a fraction of the price of buying them individually
With a rumoured fanbase that is said to include royal Kate Middleton and pop royalty Lady Gaga, Rodial has subtly, but firmly, become the beauty brand to watch in 2025. With viral sensations like its Dragon’s Blood and Bee Venom skincare, Glass Powder and Banana Lowlighter beloved for its age-defying results, the products do come with a premium price tag.
So it’s understandable as to why we practically raced to the checkout when we spotted a way to get £244 worth of goodies for just £97. The 12 Days of Rodial Advent Calendar is brimming with 12 luxury treats, which essentially works out as £8 per product.
The contents include some of the brand’s bestsellers from the viral Dragon, Snake and Bee ranges, reports the Manchester Evening News. The latter of which, Bee Venom, is reportedly loved by Princess Kate who has been rumoured to wear the Bee Venom and Placenta 24 Carat Gold Ultimate Crème.
Our very own shopping writer Lauren is a big fan of the brand and over the past year has slowly but surely built up a decent Rodial collection.
Having noticed a selection of her favourites in the calendar, she’s highlighted just a few of its standout products and why it’s a worthy investment for shoppers. Here’s what she said:
12 Days of Rodial Advent Calendar
Shoppers can also save on Rodial skincare by shopping the newly released 12 Days of Rodial Advent Calendar. Retailing for under £100, the calendar is filled with items worth £244, saving customers £147.
Peach Lowlighter
“Inspired by Rodial’s viral Banana Lowlighter, this smart concealer-meets-highlighter has a peachy undertone that works beautifully on slightly deeper skin tones. I usually reserve it for when I’ve applied fake tan; otherwise, I opt for the classic Banana shade.
“Even so, the Peach Lowlighter’s silky, lightweight formula blends seamlessly, brightening my under-eyes and leaving my cheekbones and temples with a fresh, radiant finish.”
As Lauren discovered, this Peach Lowlighter may not suit everyone’s natural skin tone, which is our only gripe as it doesn’t look like the shade of Lowlighter can be chosen. Although for those for whom this tone matches perfectly, it’s the perfect way to top up the product at a fraction of its usual £38 price tag.
Dragon’s Blood Micellar Cleansing Water
“I’ve been using the Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water for some time now, and it’s become my go-to first thing in the morning. It rejuvenates my skin for the day ahead, leaving it clean but never stripped.
“Infused with rose water and micellar oil, this gentle yet effective formula feels like a mini spa treatment with just a few sweeps of a cotton pad.
“For those who prefer a traditional cleanser, I often alternate with The Outset’s Gentle Micellar Antioxidant Cleanser. It’s another soft, hydrating option that leaves skin feeling balanced and fresh.”
Lip Oil Cherry
Lip oils are having a real moment (thanks to the Y2K beauty revival), and Lauren says: “Rodial’s Cherry Lip Oil is a worthy addition to the trend, delivering a subtle red tint and an ultra-silky formula that feels beautifully hydrating on my lips.
“It gives me an effortless, juicy pout that looks like I’ve made more effort than I actually have.”
Although while the brand claims its formula to be relatively non-sticky, Lauren shared: “I’ve definitely experienced the classic hair-stuck-to-lip moment more than once.”
Bronze Glowlighter
“I’m a sucker for a bronzer – as someone naturally pale, I love adding a bit of glow to my complexion. This Bronze Glowlighter is one of the best liquid bronzers I’ve tried, with a sun-kissed tint and luminous finish that blends effortlessly into my skin.
“It contours and warms my face in seconds – just a little light blending required – and can be infused into moisturiser for a full-face glow. For those who prefer a powder formula, Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Bronzer is an excellent alternative for that soft-focus look.”
Mini Buffing Brush
“A new makeup brush is always a delightful surprise in any advent calendar, and I’m over the moon to see my current favourite included. The Mini Buffing Brush is perfect for effortlessly blending blusher and bronzer, providing that soft, airbrushed finish with minimal effort.
“The densely packed bristles feel sumptuously soft on the skin, while its compact size makes it ideal for slipping into my handbag for touch-ups throughout the day.”
