Manchester United are due to head off to Asia for a money-making tour as all of their big names, Bruno Fernandes and Amad among them, are included for the tour

Manchester United have included their big hitters for their money-spinning trip to Asia. Despite a gruelling season, the Red Devils and their players will jet off across the globe to play two post-season games.

Bruno Fernandes and Amad are both among those who will fly with the team as it was made clear that United would have to include their blockbuster names if they wanted to bank top dollar from their trip.

The Red Devils, who want to cash in on their popularity, confirmed plans for a two-game tour of Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong back in April. It will see them travel nearly 7,000 miles shortly after their final day win over Aston Villa, but it will bank them £8million. Some of their players have fixtures to complete following the games in Asia, but that hasn’t impacted on their involvement.

United’s sponsors want to see the big names present when the club take to the pitch despite their heavy workload. The likes of Fernandes will run out for Portugal in the coming weeks.

Among the travelling party in Alejandro Garnacho despite him being linked with the exit door. He started on the bench for the Europa League final and was again overlooked on the final day and the Argentine has been linked with Chelsea and Napoli in the past.

A number of academy graduates are all included which will see them, if nothing else, gain major experience with Amorim taking the likes of Dan Armer, Godwill Kukonki and Reece Munro, midfielders Tyler Fletcher, Jack Moorhouse and Jim Thwaites.

Three exits were confirmed on the pitch after the victory over Villa and both Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen are not in the squad due to personal reasons. However veteran defender Jonny Evans is included, as he looks to say farewell to the club.

United’s trip across the world is even more needed than when it was first planned. The club are looking to raise funds and have missed out on European football all together, making the windfall they receive from this trip even more welcome ahead of the summer transfer window.

Man Utd’s squad

Goalkeepers: Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton.

Defenders: Harry Amass, Dan Armer, Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Patrick Dorgu, Jonny Evans, Tyler Fredricson, Ayden Heaven, Jaydan Kamason, Godwill Kukonki, Harry Maguire, Reece Munro, Luke Shaw.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Toby Collyer, Bruno Fernandes, Tyler Fletcher, Sekou Kone, Kobbie Mainoo, Jack Moorhouse, Mason Mount, Jim Thwaites, Manuel Ugarte.

Forwards: Alejandro Garnacho, Amad, Rasmus Hojlund, Shea Lacey, Chido Obi, Joshua Zirkzee.
