As spooky season is upon us, Sainsbury’s has launched its Tu Halloween pyjamas range, and shoppers are calling them the ‘comfiest’ PJs they have ever had. Selling fast are a range of sets that are perfect for families who want to match over the holiday, or for a cosy spooky outfit to wear solo.

One of the bestsellers so far from the range is the Howdy Halloween Pyjama Set for £24, which is available in sizes small to XXL. The cowboy-themed set has cute cartoon ghosts on a cream backdrop and is made from viscose fabric which gives it a ‘lightweight and breathable feel’, according to the website.

With a scary western theme printed across the set, it is an ideal buy to really get into the Halloween spirit. It comes with one pyjama shirt and one pair of pyjama bottoms and is finished with button fastening and an elasticated waist.

For families there are also matching sets available with kids options priced at £12 for those ages one to seven, and £14 for ages up to 14. A black set is inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and comes with a long sleeve pyjama top and a pair of pyjama bottoms that have an elasticated waist and are made from a lightweight cotton fabric. The adult set for women is the exact same and priced at £18 for sizes small to XXL or for men it’s also £18 and comes in sizes XS to XXXL.

For babies, Tu has a Unisex Halloween Pumpkin Velour Sleepsuit and Hat Set for £10 which comes in sizes newborn up to 18-24 months. This set includes an orange printed sleepsuit with a matching hat and has popper fastening.

The Tu’s Halloween pyjamas range is available from Sainsburys

For babies, they have a Unisex Halloween Pumpkin Velour Sleepsuit and Hat Set for £10 and they come in sizes newborn up to 18-24 months.

There is also the Halloween Skeleton Printed Jersey Pyjamas available from £11 for kids aged one up to 14. This set is designed with a skeleton print and includes one long sleeve pyjama top and one pair of matching bottoms, both made in a soft jersey fabric.

Argos also has some Halloween bits on its website, for example the Burgundy Halloween Pumpkin Printed Slinky Fleece Pyjamas for £18 in a plum colour, from sizes small to XXL. This set is designed in a pumpkin print and includes one long sleeve top and one pair of pyjama bottoms to match.

Matalan also has a range of options for Halloween, including the Girls Pink Ghost Fleece Matching Family Pyjama Set for between £12-£13 that’s suitable for one to 13 year olds. The set has a Halloween ghost pattern, is made with fleece fabric and comes with a long sleeve top and elasticated bottoms.

The Tu collection on Sainsburys has been rated highly by shoppers, however. For example, one person said of the Howdy Halloween Set: “Comfiest jammies I have had, so lovely.”

Another wrote: “I love these pyjamas! They are so soft and comfortable and the design is stunning.”

Some others had slight concerns, including one buyer who said: “Beautiful pyjamas with a gorgeous print but I have bought a few PJ sets from TU so thought I knew my size but these came up huge. I had to size down.”

However, most were positive, as another said: “Comfortable and soft. True to size.”
