If shoppers on the hunt for fantastic bargains, Samsung is currently offering a host of free extras and cashback deals on their products. We recently reported that Samsung is giving away £300 cashback with the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra – and now there’s good news for mobile phone enthusiasts too.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with some hefty freebies for those who choose to purchase the handset or take out a contract. Sky is offering the Galaxy S25 Ultra for just £46 per month with an upfront cost of £12.

Alongside this, customers will receive a complimentary Galaxy Tab A9+ tablet and a Galaxy Watch7. However, it’s worth noting that the Sky contract spans 36 months, meaning over the course of the contract, customers will pay £1668, excluding any data costs.

It’s a cost-effective way to spread the payment, but customers will pay more in the long run while receiving numerous freebies. For those who decide to snap up the phone, they can visit this promotional page by Samsung to enter their details and claim the free items once they have the phone.

But if shoppers want another phone, there’s also Carphone Warehouse, which has a range of other deals to explore. And for Apple fans, Giffgaff also has a reasonable monthly price on its iPhone 16 Pro with a £24 a month plan with a slightly more expensive £25 upfront cost if users want to shop around.

Samsung is handing out a free Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Tab A9+

Tech gurus at the Daily Express have put the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra through its paces, and it’s safe to say that they were thoroughly wowed by this AI-driven mobile wonder. Tech editor Dave Snelling remarked: “Samsung has done it again and produced another spectacularly good smartphone. The Galaxy S25 Ultra looks great, features a stunning 6.9-inch screen, a brilliant camera, long battery life, and that supremely quick Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

“It also gets all of those Galaxy AI upgrades that can organise your life, retouch your photos, chat to you like a human and bring live football scores straight to the home screen.”

Nevertheless, David found some aspects of the AI technology to be daunting, noting: ” It’s all clever stuff, but for some, it might just be a bit too smart.

“There’s so much Artificial Intelligence now included that it can all feel slightly overwhelming and only power users (and true AI geeks) are going to get close to scratching the surface of what this device can really do.

“That doesn’t make this a bad phone. In fact, it’s a very good phone. It just feels like all of Samsung’s development is going into the software rather than boosting the hardware. Perhaps the AI revolution in smartphones is happening because there’s little else left to innovate or enhance. One might ponder whether a new phone is necessary at all – they say AI is the solution.

“If the brilliant S24 Ultra gets the S25’s Galaxy AI upgrades – and the price continues to fall due to its age – that might also be a better bet. However, if you really want the best Galaxy on the planet, then the S25 Ultra won’t disappoint. It’s a very, very smart phone!”.
