The newest and best Samsung foldable is on the horizon, with a release date of July 25th within reach for many Android fans—and there’s a reason to be excited, too.

That’s because the Fold7 might be one of the best foldable phones that has been released for years – and Samsung has stepped up to the mark.

But what if we said there was a way to get £200 off the Fold7 and Flip7? From double storage on pre-orders to splitting the cost, there are plenty of ways to cut the price.

Samsung has launched its own Galaxy Club, a plan that allows shoppers to spread the cost of a new Galaxy phone over 24 months with a 10% deposit. Although, like plans with the at Sky and Vodafone (or any mobile contract) it is subject to the usual credit agreements.

It allows shoppers to keep their SIM-only phone without needing to sign up with a carrier, and gives shoppers a £100 discount when they sign up. Samsung will also give shoppers a free storage upgrade worth £100 as well as the Samsung Club discount.

Samsung lets shoppers spread the cost of new Galaxy phones including the Galaxy Z Fold7.

It’s a monthly payment plan that lets Samsung fans keep a SIM-free phone with a 10% deposit.

Shoppers will also get free Samsung Care+ for two years including three £50 vouchers to spend on anything shoppers want. Samsung will also refund 50% of the phone’s value after 12 months of ownership.

Mobiles.co.uk is offering some enticing pre-order deals for the Galaxy Z Fold7, and with the upgrades it boasts, it might just be worth the investment. Prices kick off at £44.99 a month, with double the storage included.

Over at Samsung and shoppers can get the bigger 512GB model for the price of the smaller 256GB device, in its double-storage offer. This is also set to stop on Friday, July 25 as pre-orders finish.

Alternatively, if you’re devoted to Apple, Giffgaff offers the iPhone 16 Pro for a reasonable £24 monthly plan, though there’s a slightly higher initial cost of £25 upfront.

Tech editor Dave Snelling said: “I’ve tried all of Samsung’s previous Z Fold gadgets, and despite being blown away by the incredible technology, they have never replaced my normal phone.

“However, that has all just changed. For the very first time, I’m actually truly smitten with a Samsung foldable. The tech giant has just released its new Z Fold7, and it really has to be seen to be believed.

“Thanks to a new design and updated Armour FlexHinge, things have been seriously slimmed down this year, which makes the device feel much easier to handle. Another vital change this year is a boost to the cover screen. Samsung has made things bigger in 2025 with the Fold7 getting a 6.5-inch display – that’s compared to a 6.3-inch panel on the Z Fold6.”

However, he did have some gripes – and that was the price. He added: “Of course, all this tech does come at a very high price. The entry-level Z Fold7 with 256GB of storage starts from £1,799 with things rising to over £2,100 if you opt for the 1TB model.

“The cost isn’t the only issue as the Z Fold7 has now lost S Pen compatibility, and there’s simply the question: do you really need a folding phone?”
