The new device costs £169.99 and comes with a dual-formula spray, which is said to be 30 times more ‘stain-fighting’. The StainForce also comes equipped with a Grab-and-Go Caddy, a self-contained organiser which keeps the unit, its attachments and spray solutions together, so it’s all in one place.
This formula also works to get rid of pungent odours that come from the likes of pet urine and smoke when tackling the stains, to leave the space smelling fresh and looking clean.

The new Shark StainForce works to easily erase the likes of pet stains, permanent marker, coffee, wine, oil, dirt and grime
Speaking about this new release, James Kitto, Northen Europe Managing Director at SharkNinja, said: “Stains and spills can occur unexpectedly, whether you have kids, pets or you’re getting ready to host guests – we all know dealing with them can be a stressful task.
“Shark StainForce is a truly innovative product: a cordless stain cleaner with dual-chemical activation, stain-grabbing suction and grab-and-go convenience. It’s designed to help consumers feel more in control, ready to tackle any stain.”
The new Shark gadget, which looks sleek, rivals the likes of VAX’s SpotWash Home Cordless machine, which costs £249.99 usually but is on sale for £199.99. The VAX ONEPWR has a removeable battery that has up to 25 minutes cord-free run-time, which just beats Shark’s 15-minute run time.
Elsewhere, for something a little cheaper, the Bissell SpotClean StainLift Portable Spot Carpet Cleaner is currently on sale at Argos for £84, down from £100.
Those who managed to get their hands on the machine upon its release have been left impressed by its quality of stain removal. One person shared a rave review that said: “Great product, cannot fault it does what it says on the box I put the solution down and cleaned it so happy. I could use it in the car as well. 10 stars, not five.”
Someone else echoed this sentiment and said: “Great for spills or stubborn stains. What I liked about this product is that it’s not bulky, and I love the caddy to carry around and store. It’s very light and not heavy. Instructions were easy to read and start it up.
“With little ones and a dog, this is perfect for our home. Easy to use with one hand. Super surprised how easy it took to get my stains out. ” Another called it a ‘child-friendly godsend’, explaining how the tool got spaghetti bolognese stains out of the carpet with ease. They said: “The instructions were very simple to use.
“Vacuum main debris, use StainForce to agitate the stain, spray cleaning solution and clean. Repeat as necessary. The solution, in my opinion, smelled nice and not like some cleaners that smell harsh. “It was easy to dispel the dirt from the machine, and it cleaned up really beautifully.”
While some people have remarked how it works on tough, old stains, one person didn’t find it budged them easily, stating the machine was best for ‘new marks’. Someone else added that they marked the bundle down by one star because of the ‘cost of the cleaning solution, not the machine itself, which is fabulous’.
