Strictly Come Dancing has announced Amber Davies as Dani Dyer’s replacement, and we’ve found her go-to Adidas trainers on sale ahead of tonight’s show
Amber Davies has had quite the week, not only announcing her new lead role in Legally Blonde the Musical, but also joining the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 cast as Dani Dyer’s replacement.
The former Love Island star has successfully carved out a career both on stage and on screen, and we can’t wait to see her on the dancefloor every week.
Not just known for her musical talents, Amber Davies is also quite the style icon, sporting chic, laid-back looks. And we’ve noticed that one of her go-to footwear choices is currently on sale.
The trainers in question are one of Adidas’ cult favourite designs, the Handball Spezial Shoes in Brown (also loved by fellow ex-Islander Molly-Mae). Adidas trainers have been trending over the past few years, mostly the popular Gazelles, Sambas, and Spezials, and they’re not going away anytime soon. This coming season is really all about flat, sporty-looking, retro trainers, and with the recent Oasis revival, it’s no surprise that Adidas is still leading the trends.
First designed in the late 1970s for handball players, Spezial’s are now a streetwear icon. Made from soft suede with a retro gum sole, they’ve got that cool vintage feel while still being completely wearable for everyday. Of course, finished off with Adidas’ iconic three-stripe branding, you know exactly where they’re from at first glance.
Amber styled her pair most recently with some striped, relaxed trousers and a simple white vest. But whether styled with leggings and an oversized knit for a casual fit, or a blazer for a sporty-chic outfit, they work with everything.
