Leopard print coats are one of the biggest trends for autumn and winter this year, and Emma Louise Connolly just shared her favourite high street ‘Shania Twain coat’
If there’s one thing your autum/winter wardrobe needs, it’s a leopard print coat. Searches have been soaring for the perfect animal print outerwear and leopard print is both a timeless classic and one of the most sought-after trends of this season.
If you’re looking for a little inspiration, Emma Louise Connolly has shared her most recent purchase with her Instagram followers, writing: “Obsessed with my new high street Shania Twain coat” and sharing a snap of herself wearing a floor-length leopard print duster coat. You can still shop Emma’s exact coat on ASOS, with the Reclaimed Vintage Maxi Duster Coat In Animal Print costing £99.

Perfect for channelling your inner Shania (who is arguably the original queen of leopard print), the Reclaimed Vintage Maxi Duster Coat manages to be both on trend and a classic that you can wear year after year, making it a worthwhile investment. It has a more subtle animal print than some you’ll see, with the muted colours and delicate cheetah print making it look expensive and effortlessly cool.
Its shape is also perfect for getting that laid-back look, with an oversized fit and longline cut giving it a relaxed silhouette. It features a notched lapel collar and padded shoulders to give it a more masculine and dramatic shape, and it fastens with buttons up the front.
There are also two super handy side pockets, and the soft woven fabric makes it cosy and warm to wear even in the chilly winter weather. Leopard print is definitely considered a neutral when it comes to getting dressed, so you can pair your new coat with just about anything.
Emma opted to wear hers with a burgundy jumper and a baseball cap for a casual off-duty look, but you could just as easily wear it over a formal evening dress with heels, or with jeans and kitten heels for dinner and drinks. Emma’s Reclaimed Vintage Maxi Duster Coat is available in sizes 4-16, however currently both the 14 and 16 are sold out.
If you’re after a wider range of sizes or need something for your taller height, Long Tall Sally’s Tall Leopard Print Longline Shacket is £55 and comes in sizes 8-24. It has a shacket-style design with patch pockets on the chest and a collared neckline, and measures approximately 48 inches long.
If you want something a little more glam, Cider’s Faux Fur Collar Leopard Pocket Long Coat is £52 and available in sizes 6 to 16. It comes in a soft, silky faux fur and has a classic statement-making leopard print design all over.
