Liam Gallagher wears the original Meru Mountain Jacket at Spektrum Oslo during Oasis' 1997 World Tour - now reissued by Berghaus as part of its 2025 Icons collection. For more information and images, contact amy@allconditionsmedia.com or florence@allconditionsmedia.com

After their first showstopping gig at Cardiff last week, Oasis are set to take the rest of the UK by storm in the coming weeks, with plenty of other tour dates still to go, including six shows in their hometown of Manchester. If you were lucky enough to snag tickets and are still working out exactly what you should wear, why not bring back a little piece of Oasis history?

During their 1977 world tour, Liam Gallagher arrived on stage in Oslo wearing Berghaus’ Meru Mountain Gore-Tex Jacket in its signature red and blue colourway, sparking a long-standing affinity between the band and the brand. In fact, Liam was part of Berghaus’ Icons campaign last year which re-launched many of its iconic jackets.

During the campaign, Liam said: “My first encounter with Berghaus was through my brother Noel. He purchased a green one in the late 80s and I was always pinching it off him. They were all the rage and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one of my own. I thought to myself ‘When I’m rich and famous, I’m getting myself one.’ I finally did that and I’ve still got it to this day.”

Considering the Berghaus jackets have become as much a part of Oasis’ look – both on stage and off – as their bucket hats and parkas, it’s a safe bet that a Meru Mountain Gore-Tex Jacket is a great choice for wearing to their upcoming gig. Plus it’s waterproof finish means you don’t need to worry about any impromptu rain showers that may happen at the open air gigs.

You can pick up your own Berghaus jacket for £290 in sizes XS to 3XL, with the jackets having a unisex design. You can also get them in navy with red accents, as well as either a grey or khaki version.

If you’re looking for something to wear under your Berghaus jacket, Next has dropped a whole line up of Oasis band T-shirts, featuring everything from colourful album art to a simple band logo. There’s also bucket hats, sweatshirts and hoodies, not to mention T-shirts for the whole family and even an Oasis babygrow.

Next isn’t the only one hopping on the Oasis hype, with Marks & Spencer also dropping its own line of men’s band T-shirts. Priced between £20 and £22 they’re the perfect staple for your gig-going outfit.

However for a truly authentic Oasis look, getting your hands on a Meru Mountain Gore-Tex Jacket is a must. Shop yours directly from the Berghaus website now.

How to buy Oasis tickets now

Oasis tickets are available right now from a number of online retailers. This includes both official and resale websites.

Fans will likely want to peruse Ticketmaster’s wares first, as they have been touted as the original seller of the band’s tour tickets. However, the online media giant has not had any tickets for some time.

And, at the time of writing, only people with allocated codes can buy tickets. Regardless, here’s the link:

Otherwise, resale websites are where fans ought to be looking the most. Oasis have signposted Twickets as their official resale websites, however, they have not had tickets for a very long time.

As a result, fans have flocked to the likes of viagogo, Vivid Seats and StubHub instead. And, at the time of writing, some Oasis tickets are being sold for around £200 each on viagogo. Below, we have broken down all the options Oasis-lovers have to buy tickets right now. This ranges from official retailers to VIP sellers and resale websites.

viagogo and resale tickets

Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

Here’s the links:

VIAGOGO – Buy Oasis tickets here.

VIVID SEATS – Buy Oasis tickets here.

STUBHUB – Buy Oasis tickets here.

TWICKETS – Buy Oasis tickets here.

Finally, there are also official tickets available from VIP and hospitality-based website Seat Unique. This retailer gives fans the absolute best chance of getting involved in Oasis’ tour dates this year.

What’s more, these VIP tickets give fans a chance to see the band with an added touch of flair and glamour. Here’s the link:
