Shopper praises Bettervit product as ‘game changer’ for workouts

With more and more supplements available on the market, it’s important people find the right ones for them

Vitamins are becoming an everyday essential for people to ensure they are getting the correct nutrients to improve performance, workouts, skin, hair, sleep and more. Bettervits is being praised by shoppers for its ‘game-changer’ product created to help both pre and post-workout.

The brand is a UK-based company that aims to create ‘exceptional supplements’ by ensuring they “contain thoroughly researched and healthy active ingredients.” The products are said to be natural, locally made, and ethically sourced.

One of the star products for those who work out regularly is Bettervits Creatine Monohydrate, which is £35 for one 300g jar with free shipping. The creatine is a “100% pure, micronised powder” and Bettervits says it is “easy to consume and is easy on your stomach.”

Each scoop contains 2.5g of creatine monohydrate, with no added fillers or additives. It is vegan-friendly and designed to enhance users’ athletic performance while aiding in building muscle mass and strength.

Also, a US study indicates that women following a more Western diet – particularly vegans – are less likely to get the appropriate amounts of creatine via their diet. The study analysed the survey results of the 2017–2020 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) and found women were getting less than 13g from food.

Bettervits Creatine Monohydrate has gained more than 230 five-star reviews, with one person saying: “The Bettervits Creatine Monohydrate Powder is a game-changer for my workouts. It’s easy to mix, thanks to its micronised form and it enhances my performance in the gym. A fantastic supplement for anyone looking to boost their strength and endurance during training.”

Another reviewer wrote: “Good value, great taste. As I’m over 50, it’s important to take creatine, it boosts not only muscle mass but can help your brain (stay) hydrated.”

Those looking to try creatine with a flavour may like Creatine Gummies Blue Raspberry from Applied Nutrition for £20 from Holland and Barrett. Alternatively, Zumub sells a 500g orange flavoured Creatine Monohydrate for £41.56.

For those wanting to support bone health, the brand also offers a Magnesium Complex, £35 for a one-time purchase of a 60-capsule bottle. It contains a blend of three unique types of magnesium with zinc and D3: citrate, glycinate, and malate.

The NHS recommends women aged between 19 and 64 get 270mg of magnesium a day, while this increases to 300mg for men of the same age. Bettervits says magnesium assists normal muscle and nerve function, energy production and metabolism; zinc further helps in supporting nerve function and immune function, and Vitamin D adds to this, as well as supporting bone and muscle health.

One happy user said: “Was recommended to try by a friend and am pleasantly surprised. I sleep better at night and feel a lot more focused and productive during the day.”

As with all products, what works for one person may not work for another, a review on Bettervits’ Amazon shop said: “Seems ok, but haven’t really noticed any change, good price.” Alternatively, Vitabright sells Magnesium Glycinate Tablets in Vegan Capsules for £19.99 without free postage.

Shoppers looking to fight some of the signs of ageing from the inside out may opt to try Bettervits Collagen Complex, £35 for 60 capsules. This is formulated with a range of natural ingredients that are said to help fight fine lines, wrinkles, brittle nails and flat hair. So far, it has garnered more than 540 five-star reviews.

For those who have heard of collagen but aren’t entirely sure what it is, Bettervits says its product is hydrolysed peptides and contains a blend of ingredients that specifically help skin, nail, hair, and joint health. It is also infused with hyaluronic acid and turmeric, along with biotin and Vitamins C and E.

One user credited the supplement with improving her skin, hair, and nails, stating: “My skin, hair, and nails are looking healthier and great since taking these. They’re easy to swallow and the only collagen supplement that has worked for me.”

Those looking to try a different brand may like Hey Nutrition Collagen Complex, which is £39.99 for 60 capsules. Consumers concerned about taste could also try Feel’s peach-flavoured Pro Collagen which is £56.43 for 30 x 10g servings.

On Trustpilot, some customers shared their opinions on the brand. One said: “Great selection of products, delivered on time, though the website automatically selects subscription purchase, which has caught a few people out, but simple enough if you look at what you’re buying.”

Another praised the customer service: “I purchased collagen complex but unfortunately it didn’t agree with me. I emailed asking for a refund and they responded within 24 hours with return details and I was credited with the money straight away, amazing customer service.”

While a five-star review of the Magnesium Complex said: “My doctor recommended I take Magnesium as I have been experiencing stiff and tired muscles after exercise. Since taking them capsule every day, I have already noticed my performance has improved, and I have a boost of energy.”
