‘The speeds with Sky are fantastic and the coverage is great’
We all want to keep up with the latest TV shows, films and other programmes on streaming services. But before shoppers think about changing or upgrading their subscriptions, there’s a deal on currently for Sky customers.
From October 10 to October 16, Sky Essential TV customers can access Sky Ultimate TV at no extra cost. What’s more, there’s no action required for this, as all Sky Essential TV customers will have access to Sky Ultimate TV.
This will unlock 35+ extra channels to watch, including Sky Max, featuring shows from the final series of Brassic to BAFTA-winning Mr Bigstuff. Other favourites include Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries, U&Gold, and Comedy Central.

Or there’s the option to buy Virgin Media’s M350 Entertainment + Netflix bundle for £36.99 per month, available for new customers. The brand says there are no setup costs, and it’s a 24-month contract.
Customers have written positively about Sky on Trustpilot. One person said: “Having been with AOL, Shell and PO broadband in the past, I switched to Sky almost two years ago. The speeds with Sky are fantastic and the coverage is great, even in the garden.”
Another wrote about the ‘amazing service’, saying: “I called Sky for some advice about how I could find a way around our TV coverage in our quirky stone-built property. A lady from Sky (name Darshan) was amazing. She was knowledgeable, patient and caring.” While a third wrote: “Absolutely amazing service. Staff were really helpful and understanding.”
More critical reviews commented on prices. One said: “I’ve been with Sky for TV, landline, broadband and mobile for five years, but costs went up considerably once all discounts ran out.”
Another wrote: “Great on service but a bit hefty on price. I would not hesitate to come back in the future if the price is better.”
