TV star Stacey Solomon has hit back at a vile troll who took aim at her appearance as she said she ‘could get away’ from the nasty comment
Stacey Solomon couldn’t ignore a vile troll who took aim at her appearance. The reality TV star and Loose Women panellist took to Instagram to call out the nasty remark on Thursday.
The 35-year-old called at a user for telling her she looks like a “horse”. They had commented on her post with an emoji of a horse and she explained she was unable to ignore the “horrible” comment.
The mum-of-five said she usually flicks pas negativity but had to respond this time as she felt she “couldn’t get away from it.”
Speaking to her followers after the incident, Stacey said: “I don’t usually read my messages, or reply to them. Well I read the nice ones, I don’t read the horrible ones.
“But this message is literally staring me in the face, it’s at the top of my comments on my last story. So I couldn’t get away from it.”
She went on: “I don’t know if I’m supposed to be offended or take it as a compliment. But I actually think horses are really pretty.”
She continued to speak to her driver, Steve, explaining the situation. She then said: “Steve’s not having it! Horses are quite pretty Steve,” before he said: “Maybe it’s because of your nice teeth.”
Later, Stacey thanked her fans for their positive reaction to her post. “Love you all,” she gushed. “Honestly I have the best family on here ever! Genuinely I don’t mind what people think of me. Truly I feel bad for mean people.
“But I think that’s mostly because I have the most amazing family, the most supportive friends (like Steve) and the nicest extended family on here. So thank you for being a massive part of my confidence and happiness. I love you all. And we must protect Steve at all costs.'”
Stacey has been keeping her followers updated with her dog’s health following his devastating diagnosis. Earlier this year she revealed her pet pooch had a health issue. He ended up having an operation and Stacey previously said that he “might not ever fully recover”.
In April she explained that family pet Teddy had an operation after it was found that he had a “predisposed condition”. She told her followers on Instagram at the time that he had become “suddenly unwell” prior to the procedure.
In a recent update earlier this week, Stacey shared a photo of Teddy. She wrote in a post alongside the snap that it’s “likely” that he will “never get the feeling back” in his legs. She added that he will also need help emptying his bladder and walking.
In the upload, Stacey wrote: “Teddy update. So many of you asking. After his vet appointment it looks likely that Teddy will never get the feeling back in his legs & will need our help with urinating & assisted walks and physio forever.”
“But the good news is … the vet was so pleased with how happy Teddy was & how well we are doing his physio & managing his bladder so me & Joe were really happy with that & felt extremely proud.”
She concluded: “I feel sad for Teddy but I’m also confident that me and Joe can give him the happiest life & all the love he deserves. So this new journey is forever. But we love Teddy so much we will just keep going & do our best to find new ways to keep him healthy & happy for as long as we can.”
