Stacey Solomon embarrassed big sister Jemma during their trip to the Hollywood Hills – but she said it was all ‘worth it’ as she tried to ‘fit in’
Stacey Solomon has said she doesn’t care what people think of her anymore as she paraded around in a collagen face mask during a trip to Los Angeles with her sister Jemma.
The 36-year-old donned the hydrating skin mask as the pair hiked to the famous Hollywood sign – embarrassing her big sister in the process, who joked that she didn’t want be seen with her.
Not bothered by Jemma’s protestations, mum-of-five Stacey didn’t take it off and told the camera as they filmed clips for social media: “She’s going to be jealous when I look 10 years younger than her tonight. Everyone in LA cares about their skin. I’m just doing my bit to fit in.”
Sharing more videos from their walk, Stacey revealed the mask had pretty much disappeared two hours later as she peeled it off before they posed for pics near the famous Hollywood sign.

Stacey then went on to tell her 6.1 million followers: “Not too bad now is it. It’s gone completely see through. Now I can take it off. See, you didn’t have to suffer it for very long, just a couple of hours.
“I’m just at an age in my life when I don’t care what anyone thinks. This makes my skin so nice and I just refuse to care about what anyone thinks. Oh my gosh look at me, it was so worth it.
“Look at me. I am in Hollywood glowing. My hair is blowing. I’m 36. I don’t care if people think that I’m a weirdo, hate me, whatever, I just want to look after myself.”
Sharing more snaps with Jemma, Stacey wrote in a heartfelt post: “My sister, I feel like a kid again when I’m with you Jem. It makes me so emotional. Sisters share a bond that is unbreakable bond and a friendship that lasts a lifetime.
“Thank you for being by my side through thick and thin, no matter what, I’m so glad I got to be here for you this week! To watch you smashing it! I love you to the moon and back Jem! x.”
Her visit to the States comes shortly after it was revealed that Stacey and husband Joe Swash’s BBC reality series, titled Stacey & Joe, would soon be back for another series after proving a hit with fans.
It took viewers behind the scenes at their Essex home, Pickle Cottage, where they live with their three kids, Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, two. Joe also has son Harry, 18, from his previous relationship with Emma Sophocleous. While Stacey has sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships.
A source told The Sun earlier this week: “There’s a definite hunger for these celebrity-based At Home With . . . style shows, with both Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy also getting their versions. But Stacey, with hubby Joe, is blazing a trail.”
The new series is on top of Stacey’s other big show, Sort Your Life Out, which has just had its fifth series. BBC documentaries commissioner Clare Sillery said: “It’s been great to see how viewers have taken Stacey, Joe, their kids and beloved pets to their hearts.”
As well as her TV shows, social media and big brand deals, Stacey has her own successful beauty brand called REHAB focusing on haircare products – and they’ve just launched a debut men’s collection with hunky Emily in Paris star Lucien Laviscount as the face of it.
The brand is known for its innovative products and has now branched into men’s care. The collection includes the Hair & Beard Grooming Oil, Shower Milk for Him, and Hair & Body Cologne for Him.
