Shoppers can save 42% on the usual price of the £38 bottle just in time for the heatwave
With temperatures soaring across much of the country, staying hydrated is more important than ever. But with the mercury getting up to 30 degrees in some places, suddenly water bottles that usually work fine can’t keep drinks chilled in warm weather, leaving drinks feeling tepid.
Shoppers have been praising Stanley’s latest launch, a slim and lightweight water bottle so efficient that some happy customers say they’ve left it in the heat of the car for hours and still come back to cold drinks. What’s more, bargain hunting shoppers can save a huge chunk on the usual price by doing one simple thing.
High-tech water bottles have become increasingly popular in recent years not just to stay hydrated on the move but also, thanks to influencers and celebs alike, as a way of reflecting style and personality. Stanley’s iconic Quencher is the best-known option, coming in a huge range of colours, collabs and sizes but Ninja, Ocean Bottle and Yeti all have bestselling and well-reviewed versions, meaning consumers have more choice than ever.
These on trend water bottles are made of stainless steel meaning they tend to be durable and more environmentally friendly while their double walls mean contents stay cold even in high temperatures. But while many bottles focus on being high capacity this can make them difficult to carry round, with the biggest Stanley holds 1.2 litres of liquid which works out as weighing a whopping 4.2lbs or almost a kilo.

Stanley’s new AeroLight IceFlow in comparison holds 600ml and is a slimline product that weighs a fraction of that, while looking like a more stylish sibling to Love Island’s water bottles. The bottles cost £40 from Stanley direct, while they’re usually priced at £38 at Argos.
However savvy shoppers have found a way to snag one for 42% off thanks to a money saving website. Bargain hunters who sign up to deals website TopCashback get a free £15 new member sign up bonus which they can use when they buy the bottle.
TopCashback then gives shoppers a percentage cashback on online spend from thousands of retailers including Argos which, once paid, means effectively the bottle will have cost £22.53 after cashback if they’re new Argos shoppers, or £22.68 after cashback.
The dishwasher safe Iceflow bottle is made of 90% recycled stainless steel and has a large, fast flow spout with a leakproof straw. It’s cup holder compatible for drivers and has a wide opening for easy cleaning and adding ice.
Stanley also says it keeps drinks cold for up to 10 hours and has a 25 year guarantee.
As a new launch there aren’t lots of reviews yet on either Argos or Stanley yet, but the initial responses have been largely positive. One shopper said: “I’m absolutely in love with this bottle. I like how it could be fully open for easy cleaning. Even when it’s left in the car when it’s sunny and very warm, water is still cold inside the bottle.”
Another added: “This bottle is fab for travelling with and holds a great amount of water without it being too heavy.”
Other shoppers praised the AeroLight for keeping water ‘super cold and fresh’ and ‘brilliant,’ with it being described as ‘the best buy ever.’
Another reviewer said: “Recently brought this, lives up to its name. Happy with the product, it’s easy clean, keeps the drink cold and is lightweight. Great for work or anywhere you need it.”
However some superfans say it’s not quite as effective as Stanley’s most popular option, with one saying: “Does not keep cold for long like the Quencher, which was disappointing for this price.”
