Steven Bartlett is best known for appearing on Dragons’ Den as well as his hit podcast Diary of a CEO where he interviews celebrities and business owners

Steven Bartlett has risen to fame over the years for his successful business career as well as podcast and TV appearances. The star is known for being the front man of Diary of a CEO and one of the Dragons on Dragons’ Den.

The businessman has manage to earn an impressive net worth over the years which made him eligible to join the BBC show back in 2022.

The 33-year-old has been a Dragon alongside Sara Davies, Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones and Touker Suleyman – who are also all millionaires as well. Steven’s net worth has been valued at an impressive £71million which he has managed to earn from his various business ventures.

Steven’s early career included co-founding social media marketing company Social Chain, which was then accused of plagiarising social media posts. It was also reported that he overstated the firm’s worth, claiming he took it public at a value of $600million when it had in fact merged with a German firm for less than a third of the value and only grew in value after he left.

After that, Steven founded media firm Flight Story which produces his popular Diary of a CEO podcast. The Daily Mail reported that Bartlett said in a press release that the holding company for his ventures, Steven.com, has been valued at $425million (£320million).

This comes after the firm received an eight-figure investment from venture capital firms Slow Ventures and Apeiron Investment. Steven’s other companies FlightStory, FlightCast and FlightFund will also fall under Steven.com.

FlightStory produces his Diary of a CEO podcast and is also behind Davina McCall’s Begin Again show. Steven has interviewed plenty of well-known names on his podcast including the likes of Simon Cowell, Boris Johnson and Richard Branson.

The podcast won Best International Podcast award at the iHeart Radio podcast awards this year. Steven landed himself in hot water on Dragons’ Den after investing in Ear Seeds which are acupuncture beads placed in the ear that falsely claimed to cure ME or chronic fatigue syndrome.

Following complaints the BBC added a disclaimer to the episode, stating that the seeds were not intended to be a cure for ME.

Steven is among several millionaires on Dragons’ Den, with each of them using their money to invest in new businesses. Sara Davies is the founder and owner of Crafter’s Companion and she has a reported net worth of £37million.

Meanwhile, Deborah Meaden is a full-time investor and joined the Den back in 2003. She’s got a net worth of £50million.

Peter Jones is the richest and longest-serving Dragon, having joined the show on its very first season. He’s worth a huge £500million.

Touker Suleyman joined the Den back in 2015 after he made millions across his fashion businesses. Across his impressive career, he has managed to earn £200million.
